With Lloyd‘s new album ‘King of Hearts’ set for release early next year, the R&B singer decided to accompany his new material with a new look. Having sported a lengthy mane since debuting in 2004, the 24 year old cut his hair – donating it to the ‘Locks for Love’ charity, whose wigs benefit those who have lost their hair via illness. {Via VIBE}

Nicki Minaj has joined the lineup of performers at this year’s MTV VMA’s. However, the rap star won’t be performing at the main event – she will be hitting the stage to do a rendition of her hit song ‘Your Love’ at the show’s pre-show.  The main event will comprise performances from Usher, Drake, Eminem, Justin Bieber, Kanye West and others. Chris Brown’s plans to hit the road with Usher may have been scrapped but that has not stopped the young entertainer from planning a concert of his own. Brown will be launching his ‘Fan of A Fan’ tour later this year alongside his mixtape collaborator Tyga. This news comes as no surprise as the duo’s single, ‘Deuces (Ft. Kevin McCall)’, has proven to be a success, thus far peaking at #1 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart and #24 on the Billboard Hot 100. {Source}
