Despite being a convicted sex offender and panned cultural appropriator,  Tekashi 6ix9ine is promoting the cancellation of fellow chart-topping rapper Doja Cat for allegedly committing similar crimes.

As the ‘Say So’ hitmaker finds herself embroiled in controversy stemming from her frequent appearances in a virtual chat room many have said promoted racism and homophobia, she took to Instagram to defend herself via video statement (as we reported here). However, during her speech she made a comment that rubbed 6ix9ine the wrong way.

6ix9ine hasn’t been out of jail two months, yet in that short time he’s managed to add a number of new names to his list of detractors including Snoop Dogg (as we reported here), Justin Bieber, and Ariana Grande.

The latter took to Instagram Monday (May 18) to lend a lengthy clap back at claims of cheating he wielded suggesting that she and her ‘Stuck With U’ co-star Justin Bieber manipulated the charts to get their tune to #1 over his (read more about that by clicking here).

Around the time Bieber and his manager, Scooter Braun, were following up with even more stinging remarks (as we reported here), the ‘GOOBA’ star took to social media to offer Grande an apology:

Is 6ix9ine just a sore loser or is he shedding light on a hot topic in the music industry?

Regardless of where one stands on the issue, what is sure is the 24-year-old (born Daniel Hernandez) is making new enemies on freedom’s side of prison as he’s taken to social media almost everyday this week to call out Billboard for allowing artists to use unconventional tactics to score high chart positions (like we’ve reported here).

As his latest single, ‘GOOBA,’ is in a tight race with Justin Bieber and Ariana Grande‘s, ‘Stuck With U,’ for next week’s top spot, the latter have launched promotional campaigns to assist with the sell of their duet.  After Amazon urged fans to buy the tune in exchange for them donating $5 for each copy sold (click here to read more), Billboard themselves – in the final hours of sales tracking – took to Twitter to announce:

Because more and more artists are utilizing “bundling” the physical sale of singles (i.e. vinyl, signed CD copies) with the accompaniment of a free digital download, the sales-padding is helping their overall first week sales.  Apparently, 6ix9ine has had enough of this move, especially if such move costs him the #1 next week.

Tekashi 6ix9ine amassed his fair share of enemies while behind bars (a feat that’s earned him quite the reputation for “snitching”), but since his unexpected release it doesn’t look like he’s on the road to gaining many friends on this side of lockdown.

First beefing with Meek Mill and later Drake (as we reported here), now the 24-year-old has his sights set on Justin Bieber and Ariana Grande as the Scooter Braun-managed duo could potentially best him for next week’s #1 spot on the Hot 100.

As the race tightens between his song, ‘GOOBA,’ and their charity duet, ‘Stuck With U,’ 6ix9ine took to Instagram moments ago to issue a warning to Billboard:
