6ix9ine‘s return from prison has brought with it Billboard hits and an endless array of headlines to match.

And it’s all taken place from the living room of his halfway house.

See, the rapper – who was convicted on charges of racketeering and more – has been on house arrest after being released early due to the global health crisis.

In a reflective post, he opened up about his stack of achievements.

It’s only been two months since his unexpected release from jail, but it appears Tekashi 6ix9ine – already on his third single since the prison break – is trying to make up for lost time.

Following two Hot 100 top 5 hits – ‘GOOBA’ and the Nicki Minaj-assisted chart-topper ‘TROLLZ’ – 6ix9ine is back with a Spanish single, ‘YAYA.’

Paying homage to his Latin roots, the Reggaeton-doused tune sees its Canon F8 & David Wept-directed music video borrow elements from its two predecessors:  a kaleidoscope of color, scantily-clad models, and shot in a living room.

As we reported here, industry analysts predicted 6ix9ine and Nicki Minaj‘s reunion duet, ‘Trollz,’ would free fall down the Billboard Hot 100 after spending only one week at its perch.

While it is not uncommon for songs that rely on single bundling and single discounting tactics to reach the top to experience steep falls after those measures desist, ‘Trollz’ is a special case as it does not boast favor in the radio airplay division of chart calculation that its competition does.

As such, the tune made a whopping plunge on the refreshed Hot 100, making it the furthest fall from #1 (while remaining on the chart) in the tally’s 62-year history.

6ix9ine and Nicki Minaj kicked off the week with news their latest duet, ‘TROLLZ,’ had been colored into the top spot of the Billboard Hot 100.

While Minaj was no stranger to the win as she just celebrated her inaugural #1 last month (click here to read more), the trip to the chart’s summit came as a first for her co-star – a victory he used to taunt fellow rappers Future, Gucci Mane, Meek Mill, and more as they could not boast the same (click here to read more).

But, while ‘TROLLZ’ may own the history-making feat of opening with 2020’s biggest first week sales yet, it is projected to soon be entering in history books for another reason: the biggest drop from #1 ever.

As if coloring his name atop the Billboard Hot 100 this week with the Nicki Minaj-assisted ‘Trollz’ wasn’t enough reason to celebrate (as we posted here), rainbow-rocking rapper 6ix9ine is adding another color to his collection:  Platinum.

Living up to the title of his inaugural Hot 100 chart-topper, ‘TROLLZ’ star Tekashi 6ix9ine is flaunting his recent victory in the faces of his enemies – namely fellow rappers Gucci Mane, Future, Meek Mill, and more.

Taking to social media, the rapper (born Daniel Hernandez) gloated:

“Today I’m No. 1 in the world, right? And I just wanna address a couple things. I wanna drag them some more,” he said. “I got a list!”

From there, he dragged his nemeses one by one.

6ix9ine isn’t exactly among Cardi B‘s favorite people in the world, especially after he snitched to the feds that she was allegedly part of a gang being investigated for racketeering (among other crimes) as we reported here.

Her disdain for him undoubtedly grew this week after he took to social media to slam her devoted fans, affectionately called #BardiGang, and claim they attempted to sabotage his bid for Billboard’s crown position.

As 6ix9ine and Nicki Minaj‘s respective fan bases are setting Twitter alight at news the dynamic duo’s latest duet, ‘Trollz,’ has colored its name atop the Billboard Hot 100 (as we reported here), the rappers have taken to social media to join the celebration.

While in one corner Minaj shared history-making stats from the feat (i.e. the song’s chart premiere making her the first female rapper to debut at #1, surpassing Elvis Presley with 100 Hot 100 appearances, etc.), her ‘Trollz’ co-star popped bottles on Instagram and slammed radio for its lack of support.
