As excitement grows for the September 24 theatrical release of the musical drama ‘Dear Evan Hansen,’ so does anticipation of its official soundtrack (which drops the same day).

Boasting a star-studded tracklist that includes the likes of SZA (as we previously reported) as well as Tori Kelly, Carrie Underwood, FINNEAS, and many more, the latest taste of music set to line the project comes via ‘You Will Be Found’ – a duet by unlikely pair Sam Smith and Summer Walker.

“Even when the dark comes crashing through / When you need a friend to carry you / And when you’re broken on the ground / You will be found / So let the sun come streaming in / ‘Cause you’ll reach up and you’ll rise again / Lift your head and look around / You will be found,” the duo croon on the inspirational track.

Sam Smith‘s latest era, ‘Love Goes’ (which supports their 2020-released third studio album of the same name), may not boast the sales and accolades of its predecessors but that doesn’t mean it’s delivered any shortage of hits.

Unofficially kicked off in 2019 by the Normani-assisted ‘Dancing with a Stranger’ (one of the biggest songs of that year), the project also features the top 40 hits ‘How Do You Sleep?,’ ‘Diamonds,’ and ‘I’m Ready’ featuring Demi Lovato.

Related to the latter, the anthemic cut is just one of multiple from ‘Love Goes’ that got an upgrade from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) recently.
