After scoring their third top 5 hit on both sides of the pond with the October 30-released ‘Love Goes’ (click here to read more), Sam Smith – in a bid to ensure its longevity on charts – has shown no signs of slowing support for the LP.

Despite preceding the project’s release with an aggressive awareness run that saw touch downs on ‘The Late Show with Stephen Colbert,’ ‘The Late Late Show with James Corden,’ 2020 ARIA Awards, 2020 MTV EMAs, Sirius XM, and more (as we reported here), Smith’s still pounding the promo pavement with the latest appearance coming on the U.K.’s Magic Radio.

On hand to deliver a little yuletide magic, Sam shared an absolutely stunning rendition of holiday classic ‘Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas’ before launching into an updated version of their recently Diamond-certified hit, ‘Stay With Me.’

With Diamond certified hit ‘Stay With Me,’ 7x Platinum hit ‘I’m Not the Only One,’ and more, ‘Dancing with a Stranger’ singer Sam Smith is no stranger to clocking Hot 100 hits by their lonesome.

Yet, that hasn’t stopped the hitmaker from keeping a collaboration hit list.

Still hot on the promo trail for their latest Billboard 200 top 5 album, ‘Love Goes,’ Smith was recently spotted on Canadian news dishing about the project, its singles, and so much more.

When quizzed on what fellow performers they’d love to duet with, the GRAMMY winner gave a couple of surprising answers including Beyoncé and Canadian Pop icon Celine Dion.

On November 25, the Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA) Music Awards attracted one of its biggest performance lineups ever courtesy of its 2020 edition which – like most other annual events – had a virtual component.

Its 34th annual showing, the ARIAs called on stars like Kylie Minogue and Robbie Williams to present its trophies to winners via live stream while chart-topping superstars Sam Smith, Sia, and Billie Eilish led the charge of musicians who lent distanced, pre-recorded live offerings of their latest hits.

Sam Smith fans worried about the singer’s succession of misses on the Hot 100 are finding relief with the modest, yet steady upward chart moves of ‘Diamonds.’

Serving as the second single from Smith’s serially delayed third album, the October 30-released ‘Love Goes’ (click here to stream), the song’s been on the receiving end of an aggressive promo schedule that’s seen it performed everywhere from ‘The Late Late Show’ to ‘The Late Show,’ ‘Good Morning America,’ the 2020 MTV EMAs, and more.

Over two months after the premiere of its Luke Monaghan-directed music video, it appears the awareness campaign is working in the GRAMMY winner’s favor.

In case you needed a reminder that no one tugs at heart strings quite like Sam Smith, the GRAMMY winner’s serving it courtesy of the somber holiday tune, ‘The Lighthouse Keeper.’

“Build yourself a boat, babe, make yourself a sail. Float into the ocean to nowhere,” they sing on the Facebook exclusive. “When you set sail on your journey and happiness is far away, love will guide you til the morning.”

Though the standalone track is not found on Smith’s latest top 5 album, ‘Love Goes’ (click here to stream), it certainly fits well alongside the crooner’s velvety discography.

The promo trail has been grueling (to say the least) for Sam Smith for their third studio album, ‘Love Goes.’

Supporting an era that technically kicked off in 2019, the album – after a myriad of evolutions, delays, and title changes – finally landed on digital shelves October 30, a week before premiering on the Billboard 200 at #5 (as we reported here).

In the week between the LP’s unveiling and chart debut, Smith pounded the promo pavement by rendering performances at the likes of ‘The Late Late Show with James Corden,’ ‘The Late Show with Stephen Colbert,’ ‘Sirius XM,’ the 2020 MTV EMAs, and much more (click here to watch).

Despite those high profile appearances, some fans were most impressed with the GRAMMY winner’s more demure, stripped live showings – much like those found aboard their official YouTube channel from a recent session at Abbey Road Studios.

Sam Smith fans may be celebrating watching the OSCAR and GRAMMY winner’s third studio album, ‘Love Goes,’ go straight to the top 5 of this week’s Billboard 200 (as we reported here), but Smith is still looking to push the set to higher heights.

After a whirlwind promo run that saw the 28-year-old touch multiple continents (virtually) with interviews and live performances of some of the project’s critically acclaimed content, they are still forging ahead with supportive jaunts as evidenced by Monday night’s visit to ‘The Late Late Show with James Corden’ (November 9).

While there, Smith not only shined with an energetic rendition of the LP’s hit single, ‘Diamonds,’ but also sat down for a fun-filled chat with the resident host.

‘How Do You Sleep?’ singer Sam Smith is doing everything in their power to ensure fans aren’t sleeping on their new album, the serially delayed third opus ‘Love Goes.’

The project, preceded by hits ‘Dancing with a Stranger,’ ‘Sleep,’ ‘I’m Ready,’ and more, has been showered with praise since its October 30 arrival – a win it’s not projected to mirror commercially as industry analysts predict it will premiere on the Billboard 200 with Smith’s lowest first-week figures to date (click here to read more).

To turn the tide on the forecast, the GRAMMY winner’s been blazing the promo trail with high profile appearances listed in ‘Vogue,’ ‘iHeart Radio,’ ‘The Late Show,’ and more on both sides of the pond (as we reported here).  The latest of like visits comes via a string of performances lifted to radio giants ‘Sirius XM.’
