It seems domination is all Mariah Carey wants for Christmas, and from the looks of things she’s getting her wish.
Already watching her perennial holiday hit, ‘All I Want for Christmas is You,’ rebound into the Billboard Hot 100’s top 5 (as we reported here), the rise comes weeks after the songbird found herself soaring on book sales list for her children’s book, ‘The Christmas Princess.’
Now, dedicated fans (affectionately called #Lambs) who can’t make her set of 2022 holiday shows are being gifted multiple opportunities to still see her live in action.

‘Look what you made me do’ takes on a new meaning for Taylor Swift fans, affectionately called #Swifties, in the wake of ongoing calls for better regulation of event ticket handling at Ticketmaster – the world’s largest ticket sales and distribution company.
As reported, the fan group was bested by ‘unprecedented bots’ on the Ticketmaster site after Swift announced her latest stadium trek, ‘The Eras Tour,’ which caused system crashes, halted ticket sales, and jacked prices of resold tickets into the high thousands.
Despite multiple apologies from the company, it was not only scolded by Taylor but also became the subject of a federal government probe launched to investigate accusations of fraud, price fixing/gouging, and antitrust violations.
Some impatient Swifties aren’t willing to wait for the potential of retribution in a criminal court, however, as evidenced by a recently lifted civil case.

Now, as the year draws to a close, That Grape Juice is reflecting on the occasions that rocked – and to some degree maybe even reshaped – the Urban and Pop cultural landscape as we know it.
Next, we’ll revisit how 2022 became Macy Gray‘s most controversial year yet.
It’s been over a decade since Keri Hilson last tackled Billboard charts with hits from her last studio album, 2010’s ‘No Boys Allowed,’ but the GRAMMY nominee suggests the wait for its follow-up is winding down.
When hot on the promo trailer for her latest film, VH1’s ‘Hip Hop Family Christmas Wedding’ (the sequel to the 2021 hit holiday flick ‘Hip Hop Family Christmas’), Hilson – who spent the latter half of this year flexing her greatest hits live aboard the latest iteration of the ‘Millennium’ tour – was quizzed multiple times about the musical moves that would follow the jaunt’s end.
Waxing honest about her next musical steps, she not only dished on the creative process for the yet-titled project but also addressed the 2019 ‘false start’ that left some of her patient fans sour about her forthcoming LP.

Just weeks after celebrating Blueface‘s jail release, Chrisean Rock appears to have released her inner Laila Ali on her boo as evidenced by a photo that shows him with two black eyes.
Jennifer Lopez may have made headlines in the past for using her vocal chops to tackle one of Whitney Houston‘s most celebrated numbers, ‘Saving All My Love For You’ (as reported here), but that doesn’t mean she will be rendering other live renditions of the Pop icon’s challenging hits any time soon.
The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences recently announced nominations for the first-ever Children’s and Family EMMY Awards, the first standalone expansion of the Emmys since 1979.
To be presented December 10 and December 11 at the Wilshire Ebell Theater in Los Angeles, the new awards will toast the year’s best and brightest offerings for entertaining and informative programming designed for family members of all ages.
“Putting a spotlight on children’s & family programming after years of unparalleled growth in content quality and quantity in this space is an exciting moment for the television industry,” said Adam Sharp, President and CEO of NATAS, in a press statement.
Across categories like Outstanding Preschool Series, Outstanding Lead Performance in a Preschool, Children’s, Or Young Teen Program, Outstanding Voice Performance In an Animated Program, and many others, creators who typically see their family-oriented work overlooked at Daytime and Primetime EMMY ceremonies will have a stronger chance of getting recognized.

Featuring award-winning songstress JoJo, the feel-good track sees her trade verses with the group about patiently testing the waters of a burgeoning love.
“We don’t have to try/ I feel so alive (I feel so alive) / Put your hand in mine / When I feel your vibe (When I feel your vibe) / I feel so alive / We don’t have to try,” they sing on the chorus of the Ivan Barias-produced cut.
