The music industry and its enthusiasts are still buzzing as Tuesday (November 15) brought with it the highly anticipated unveiling of the 2023 GRAMMY nominations.

Ahead of honoring the year’s best and brightest in the music realm on February 5, 2023, the coveted tally expectedly listed the likes of chart-toppers Beyonce, Adele, Harry Styles, Bad Bunnyand Lizzo as competitors for the ceremony’s top honors.

It’s Grammy nomination time!

Music’s biggest calendar night, the 65th annual GRAMMY Awards, are set to air on February 5, 2023 live on CBS.

The industry’s brightest stars will align to shine at the event, which will boast performances from the creme de la creme.

Today, excitement for the ceremony soared to new heights as its committee reveals which artists have been nominated in which categories.

Beyonce leads with a whopping nine nominations, followed by Kendrick Lamar with 8. Adele and Brandi Carlile scored 7 each.

Mary J. Blige, Harry Styles, DJ Khaled, Future,  The-Dream, and Randy Merrill all landed 6 apiece.

Earlier this year, the star revealed that she’s intentionally shunning the live circuit to pour her all into the project – which was once titled ‘Pretty B*tch Music’ and is now christened ‘The Single Life.’

At the height of its popularity, Post Malone and Swae Lee‘s ‘Sunflower’ (found aboard the soundtrack of 2018’s animated film ‘Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse’) not only topped the Hot 100 but entered history books for becoming one of the longest-running top 10 hits of all time.

Racking up a whopping 33 weeks in the chart territory (a record for a soundtrack single), the only duet to have enjoyed a longer stay there overall was The Kid Laroi and Justin Bieber‘s 2021 smash ‘Stay‘ (which lasted 47 weeks).

The Malone and Lee song’s impressive commercial performance was also evidenced by its 11x Platinum certification at the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) for sales of 11 million in the United States by November 2020.

Two years later, the enduring success of ‘Sunflower’ sees it planted in the record books of the RIAA as well. Look inside to see how.
