After a six-year absence, Rihanna returned to the music Friday morning (October 28) with the heartfelt ballad, ‘Lift Me Up.’
One of two songs from the GRAMMY winner set to line the soundtrack of the upcoming ‘Black Panther’ sequel, ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever,’ ‘Lift’ was written by Rih, ‘Panther’ director Ryan Coogler, Oscar winner Ludwig Göransson, and Nigerian superstar Tems as a tribute to late ‘Panther’ star Chadwick Boseman (who died from colon cancer in 2020).
Barely giving her dedicated fans, affectionately called the #Navy, time to catch their collective breaths, Rih has already lifted an ethereal accompanying music video for the touching tune.
