Commercially, ‘Changes’ continues to prove itself an inadvertently apt description for Justin Bieber‘s last era.

Coincidentally kicked off by the R&B-flavored ‘Yummy,’ the project – despite topping the Billboard 200 in February – has been his least consumed by music lovers to date.

Yet, despite not knowing the out-of-the-box success of its predecessors ‘Purpose,’ ‘Believe,’ and ‘My World 2.0,,’ ‘Changes’ can now at least boast a similar stat:  Platinum status.

Almost 25-years after its release, ‘Waiting To Exhale’ made headlines again this week when actress Loretta Devine revealed that a revival of sorts was in the works.

And while the news excited some, others weren’t as welcoming of what appeared to be a “sequel” to the original. Especially given how coveted the classic film is and the tragic absence of Whitney Houston, who died in 2012.

Well, Terry McMillan – the revered writer of the like-titled novel that formed the basis of the movie – has provided clarity.

A royal backlash indeed for legendary ‘Throne Room’ hitmaker CeCe Winans after the Gospel diva was among the celebrities featured in a President Donald Trump-ordered ad designed to reassure the country about the current administration’s response to the coronavirus pandemic.

With the associated death toll at 204,000 at writing, Trump’s lax reaction to the health crisis has been widely criticized – a tide he was hoping to turn by teaming with the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) to launch a $300 million advertising campaign highlighting their reactive efforts.

To assist, HHS enlisted the likes of Dennis Quaid and Winans to reach audiences – a move that’s incited backlash for both participants, especially the latter.  So much so, the 12-time GRAMMY winner took to Twitter Friday (September 25) to defend her actions.

Designed much like our ‘Retro Rewind’ and ‘From the Vault’ segments, ‘Replay’ is That Grape Juice‘s retrospective segment – a written quest, if you will, to re-spin the gems and jams of yesterday.

Unlike its ‘Rewind’ and ‘Vault’ predecessors, ‘Replay’ looks to dust off and showcase entire albums (and eras) from a library of Pop and Urban Pop music hits.

In celebration of the 20th anniversary of Queen of Pop Madonna‘s first album of the millennium, this week we’ll replay her eighth studio effort, ‘Music.’
