Let the ‘One Woman Army’ begin!

That’s right, after the welcome arrival of her R&B number ‘Sorry‘ and its boy crazy younger sister ‘Got Me Good’, Pop Princess Ciara serves a sizzling cover for her new single ‘Body Party‘.

While there’s still no word as to when we’ll get to hear the single, one thing is for sure. That being…if it’s half as hot as its cover, it won’t be long before the entire world falls head over heels with Brand Ciara and all the folks over at EPIC have to offer!

With a matter of months to go before the arrival of her new album, last month saw ‘And I’ beauty Ciara hit Europe for a series of appearances to boost momentum for the release.

One of these, saw her arrive in Amsterdam and perform her Trap infused dance jam, ‘Wake Up‘ for fans. Sans choreography but armed with the fire we hope to see in the promo campaign for the album, the performance made for fun viewing.

This, even though we hoped more effort was placed in pushing her broader material (see ‘Overdose’ & ‘Sorry’).

Peep these pics of ‘Like A Surgeon’ stunner Ciara, on her way out of Mastros Steakhouse in Beverly Hills last night.

Joined by her reported boyfriend Future, the Givenchy beauty was snapped on her way out of the restaurant as she made her way to her car, arm in arm with the ‘Love Song’ Rapper.

Her sighting comes months before the launch of her hotly anticipated  ‘One Woman Army’ studio album, which will feature contributions from ‘No Hush‘ gem Wynter Gordon and Roc Nation priority, Elijah Blake.

They’re the apple’s of LA Reid’s eyes, however- despite their similarities- there came a time when things turned all the way sour between ‘Diamonds’ belle Rihanna and  her Grammy winning R&B sister, Ciara.

Of course, while the pair seemed to have patched things up now, their very public confrontation stands as one of the surprising events to come from today’s Pop class, now available to relive below…

This week’s That Grape Juice ‘Cover Star‘ comes from the smooth stylings of Youtube’s RayGiftedKeys. Watch as the Michigan musician covers Ciara‘s hit slow jam ‘Sorry’.  Start at :38

Good job.  A very stripped down cover of Ciara’s sexy hit, we definitely applaud the Youtube performer’s ability to convey the innocence of the song while still putting an original spin on it!

Kudos to Keys and co.

Your thoughts?

Many have much to say about Ciara, yet it’s almost blasphemous to question her ability as a performer.

Indeed, since blazing onto the scene in 2004, the 27 year old has established herself as one of this generation’s greatest stage blazers. And, in newly released rehearsal footage, the star proves why.

The clip depicts the Epic Records singer preparing for her recent VH1 Divas 2012 performance with her troop of dancers and Beyonce’s musical director, the amazing Kim Burse. Aired last month, the live showing saw the Atlanta native tribute Michael Jackson before launching into ‘Got Me Good’.

After warming up the masses with promotional singles ‘Sorry’ and ‘Got Me Good’ last Fall, Ciara is putting the finishing touches to her eagerly awaited fifth album, ‘One Woman Army’.

Due later this year, the project was formally “introduced” to European taste-makers last week by the singer herself. As such, ever keen to ask the questions you really want answers to, we caught up with the stage blazer during her London run with Livebase.

Watch above as the coy star talks the LP’s status, making “Ghetto Pop” music, having “tonnes of love for Beyonce”, and more.

Enjoy.

One’s a stage blazer, the other a vocal bible. Yet, Ciara and Brandy‘s paths met in the middle yesterday on the set of hit BET show The Game. All smiles, the ladies shared the shot above on their respective Twitter accounts.

Set to debut in March, the sixth season of the cable hit sees B-Rocka reprise her main-cast role of Chardonnay, while it is believed that Ciara is making a cameo.

In both cases, the show is a good look. More than ever before, the music industry requires an artist penetrate many arenas for longevity. Hence, it’s great to see both ladies doing just that – together.

#Csquad commander Ciara is certainly gifting her faithful troops with many-a-present today.  For, hours after being featured on MTV’s bio-documentary ‘This Is How I Made It’, the ‘One Woman Army’ hitmaker marches across speakers with the bass-thumping ‘Wake Up, No Make-Up‘.

Featuring samples of her 2010 hit ‘Ride’ and said to be featured on collaborator/rumored boyfriend Future‘s new mixtape ‘The Movie’, the twosome’s collabo sees little of the rapper on the vocal front – putting Cici front and center to shine on the ‘swag bragging’ piece.

How do the duo fare?  You tell us after the jump:

Here at That Grape Juice we’re ever keen to ask the questions you really want answers to! As such, when we caught up with Ciara at VH1 Divas 2012 last week, it was almost obligatory that we quizzed the stage blazer on her ‘One Woman Army’ project and the next single(s) to be lifted from the hotly anticipated set.

True to form, Ms. Harris was super coy. However, we can vouch for her comments about “super exciting” developments next year. Watch this space.
