Two days ago, B2K alum Raz B found himself back under the gaze of media when excerpts from his alleged tell all book emerged online.

Excerpts, which made a number of sensational claims regarding his dealings with Chris Brown, Ray J,Bow Wow and his one time band mates.

While That Grape Juice won’t dignify these baseless allegations by shedding any more light on them, we can say they are pretty damning.

So damning, Brown has responded to them via Twitter.

Whether you’ve heard her music or not, it’s safe to say there’s no escaping Adele-mania.

Fueled by her sophomore LP ‘21‘ and heightened by the momentum of its own sales, the project has turned the star into one of the highest selling acts in more time, literally selling more copies per week than many of her chart rivals could shift in a year.

However, with this success has come an undying criticism related to Adele’s look- more specifically, her race.

Like Amy Winehouse and Joss Stone before her, Adkins’ success-albeit warranted- has led many to ask the uncomfortable question:

But what if she was black, would she be as successful?

This week, that question was asked and answered by ‘The Magnetic Fields’ front man Stephen Merritt.

Love them or hate them, Reality TV stars are hot property in today’s world- turning otherwise fame seeking hopefuls  into multi-media darlings.

So, in honor of their impact, VIBE called on Atlanta’s Kandi Burruss, Basketball ‘wife’ Evelyn Lozada, Love & Hip Hop star Chrissy Lampkin and Braxton sister Tamar for their June/July 2012 SEXY ISSUE.

Peep excerpts from their spread before it hits news stands below:

VIBE: Star Jones started a petition, lashing out against women and violence on reality TV. What’s your reaction?
Evelyn: [Bursts into laughter] I think she’s going to have to get a whole lot of names. Actually, I like the petition and I like the controversy because I’ve learned controversy is good.

But I think she’s irrelevant. And she’s using our coattails to get relevant again. Nobody gives a f*ck about her.

Do any of you see yourselves as role models?

Chrissy: I guess if somebody is afraid to speak their mind and wanna stand up for themselves, then yes. I want people to realize that they can have whatever they want.

You can be respected in your relationship exactly the way you want to be. It’s up to you to go get it.

Some of the stuff is a little heavy, but you’re not going to be exposed to crazy situations in life just by watching reality TV. You can go to the corner store and see crazy shit going on. You can go to school and see crazy shit.Don’t put it all on me.

Kandi: You would never imagine how many people come up to me on the street: “How could you be a part of that? It’s a disgrace to Black people.” I’m on a show called Real Housewives and I’m not married so I guess I represent single mothers out there who are handling their business and trying to take things to the next level.

So when people say, “You shouldn’t be on the show, it’s like, “Well, who do you want to go on there? More people you don’t like?”

So you’re saying the producers orchestrated the violence?

Chrissy: Absolutely. They would go as far as telling the new girl, “Chrissy thinks she’s Queen Bee around here so we need you to step up because nobody here has a strong enough personality.

We need you to shut it down.” They were feeding people this negative energy from the door. I have no reason to lie.

Last night, in aid of his new album ‘Fortune‘, Chris Brown graced the 2012 Billboard Music Awards with a live rendition of his smash hit ‘Turn Up The Music‘.

However, despite excelling on a dance front, today saw the star come under fire for allegedly ‘miming’ to a pre-recorded vocal as opposed to singing live.

On the receiving end of a series of ‘indirect tweets’ from P!nk and one time collaborator Joe Jonas, Brown and his performance have struck up fresh debate today. Debate, centered around his alleged inability to sing his own songs live.

Keep your friends close and your competition closer.

At least that’s the mind-set Rihanna must have employed last night in London when she ran into “chart rival” Rita Ora. The pair crossed paths en route to Jay-Z and Kanye West‘s ‘Watch The Throne Tour’ at the O2 Arena, and as per the shot above ol’ RiRi couldn’t keep her hands off the ‘How We Do’ singer. They’d then go on to follow each other on Twitter.

Again, keep your friends close and your competition closer…

Since Ora burst onto the charts earlier this year, the Londoner has been touted (on mass) as Rih’s “replacement”. With good reason, too.

Aged just 22, she’s packing everything her Roc Nation sister is, plus actual vocal talent. What’s more, despite their Nation affiliation, the ladies are in reality signed to rival labels. Hence regardless of any media stirring or their own personal takes on it, they’re entirely each other’s competition – especially with Rita clearly being positioned in Fenty’s “lane” and ironically working it better than her.

Needless to say, it’ll be interesting to see how this plays out.
