Following their collaboration of Ludacris‘ ‘My Chick Bad’ remix in 2009, Rappers Eve and Nicki Minaj seemed to keep a respectable distance of sorts- with one having very little to say about the other.

Prompting reports that the ‘Flashbacks Of A Fool’ actress wasn’t too keen on the Pepsi front woman, this week saw her dispel claims she had a problem with her- praising her during an interview with the folks over at Fuse.

Fierce femcee Azealia Banks Pop’s it up for Paper magazine’s latest issue.

The colour-burst shoot sees the 21 year old strike many an outlandish pose, as she continues her steady penetration into the mainstream.

Ms. Banks may currently be without management, yet whoever is steering her ship is doing an impeccable job. From the MET Ball to the mixtapes, to the magazines. Come the September release of her debut LP ‘Broke With Expensive Taste’, the industry may have another female Rap force on their hands. Look out, Nicki!

Azealia Banks continues to buzz her way into mainstream consciousness. Her latest mobilizer? The video for ‘Liquorice’ – which the femcee teased today.

Set to debut tomorrow, the cut is lifted from the 21 year old’s ‘1991’ EP.

Between Nicki, Iggy, and Ms. Banks, the female Rap scene is heating all the way up. Are you feeling the new “breed”?

You may not know it, but the man in the picture above is one of Pop’s music most powerful entities.

Yes, as the driving force behind Lady GaGa‘s career Troy Carter‘s influence in the industry- though rarely publicized- has made him ‘the one to go to’ for any hoping to recreate GaGa’s success.

In 2009 there was Nicki Minaj, who reportedly called on Carter to manage her alongside then mentor Diddy in a partnership of sorts. A partnership, that failed to come to fruition for reasons still unknown.

Then came Azealia Banks, who succeeded in landing a deal with Troy earlier this year. However, as reported here yesterday, that deal ended just as quickly as it started, leaving  Banks without a manager.

Now she was spoken on the matter, hinting that ‘egos’ were to blame for the split.

Earlier this evening, numerous reports claimed Rap Queen Nicki Minaj was to welcome Foxy Brown and ‘212‘ sweetheart Azealia Banks to the stage during her set at Summer Jam 2012, the event in which she is headlining.

This, for any aware of the star’s feud with Rap veteran Lil Kim, was seen a subtle dig at the MC as Foxy and Banks are-like Minaj herself- engaged in their own respective spats with her.

So in response to the reports, Kim took to Twitter to air out her feelings.

Feast your eyes on Azealia Banks, in preparation for her set at tonight’s 2012 MET GALA in NYC.

Under the wing of designer Alexander Wang, tonight marks her official introduction to the US media, courtesy of Nicki Minaj.

For, if reports are to believed, Banks was asked to perform at the event when Minaj was forced to pull out- for reasons yet to be confirmed.

Yes, for whatever reason, Lil Kim has always struggled to get along with other Female Rappers.

In fact, barring Missy Elliott– who is responsible for putting the MC on the Pop classic ‘Lady Marmalade’- Kim has gotten into it with almost every Femcee she has been linked with.

So it didn’t surprise us when New York native Azealia Banks spoke out against her last week, hinting she had been disrespected by the Rap icon.

Now, Kim’s rep has slammed Lady GaGa‘s management company (who also manage Banks) over the matter, accusing them of manufacturing the feud for publicity.

Rap fiends rejoiced two weeks when ago when Azealia Banks announced she had received a ‘Direct Message‘ from Lil Kim on Twitter.

Prompting rumors of a collab between the pair, Banks gushed over the Rap Icon with “Most female Rappers are Lil Kim stans but just don’t know it“.

However, if actions carried out by the ‘212′ belle on Twitter are anything to go by, the pair’s short lived tech-mance has come to a bitter end.
