Two years have passed since Monica last blessed the charts with her most recent album, ‘New Life’.

In the years that followed, the singer has embraced the concept quite literally – living the married life with husband Shannon Brown and welcoming daughter Laiyah.

Now, the songbird is gearing up for a return to the charts and is letting fans hear morsels of new music.

Taking to Instagram this weekend, the 33-year-old shared a clip from a studio session, which included new track ‘Ocean Of Tears’.

The superstar’s tenth studio album struts into stores on said date and she’s wasting no time whipping up heightened buzz.

Fresh from unwrapping official Pop single ‘First Love’ this week, the 44-year-old has today teased a new song – by way of boyfriend Casper Smart.

Taking to Instagram, the dancer shared a clip of himself and the singer riding in a Jeep listening a fresh track titled ‘So Good’.

Rita Ora‘s Stateside invasion continued this week when the Brit-bred belter performed at an exclusive Roc Nation showcase in New York City.

While her current US promo run has largely been in support of new single ‘I Will Never Let You Down’, the 23-year-old seized the moment to introduce more material from its parent album (which’ll dub as her American debut).

Performing to a crowd of industry tastemakers, Ora rocked the house with new songs ‘Touch The Sky’ and ‘Last Love’.

It’ll be lights, camera, action for Pop force Lady GaGa!

Mother Monster is gearing up to launch her world tour ‘artRAVE: The ARTPOP Ball’ on May 4th and is giving fans a sneak peek at her production rehearsals.

Taking to Twitter, the 28-year-old shared the shot above with the caption: “Welcome to the #artRAVE”.

The trek, which is set to touch many major territories across the globe, has been mounted in support of the singer’s fourth studio album ‘ARTPOP’ – which has enjoyed a rocky run by most counts.

Still, in a business that sees touring remain both lucrative and a key to longevity, GaGa is smart to be hitting the road. Indeed, in reminding the masses of her live prowess, she’ll be setting a sound foundation for her next effort. Right?

Well, after using the genre to craft many a melodic hook on 2010’s ‘Pink Friday‘, the ‘Lollipop Luxury‘ rapper seems to have reunited with the genre for her third LP’s material, teasing it with a ‘rump’ filled Instagram clip unleashed minutes ago!

A genius- and perhaps far safer- way to appease the wide range of radio formats the star needs to reach the buying public, her supposed return to the field can now be enjoyed via the short but oh so sweet clip below!

Whoopi Goldberg leads an all-star cast in the film adaptation of Terry McMillan‘s fifth book and New York Times Bestseller, ‘A Day Late and a Dollar Short’. The made-for-TV movie follows Viola Price (Goldberg) as she struggles to keep her dysfunctional family together in the midst of her own health crisis. After a devastating asthma attack, Viola learns her days are numbered and begins planning a Paris theme 60th birthday at which she hopes to gather her family one last time. A happy celebration turns sour when all hell breaks loose leaving Viola filled with anxiety and heartbreak.

On Monday morning, BBC’s Fearne Cotton will premiere Lana Del Rey‘s ‘West Coast’, making its way to the world in support of her sophomore set, ‘Ultraviolence.’

Fortunately for her fans, last night saw her tease the single during a concert launched to support her debut offering ‘Born To Die’ and the aforementioned ‘Violence‘, giving the world just a little of what they can expect from the sun-kissed jam.

Following a four year hiatus, The Bookdocks beams back on to the small screen this month!

Much the like show’s on-screen antics, controversy abounds though in that creator Adam McGruder is confirmed to not be involved with the show’s fourth and final season.

In a bid to buffer the news and, of course, build buzz for the cult hit’s return on April 21st, network Adult Swim have released an extended preview of what fans can expect during the show’s penultimate run.
