The excitement for the US version of X Factor is reaching a feverish pitch as the premiere date draws nearer. With an all-star panel lining the judges’ table, Nicole Scherzinger, L.A. Reid, Paula Abdul, and Simon Cowell are gearing up for a whirlwind season to find America’s best undiscovered talent – and reward him/her $5 million dollars!

Now, Bad Boy has invited to preview all of the offerings on the project. With entries from many up-and-comers on its roster including Red Cafe, Cassie, and Machine Gun Kelly, Diddy and DJ Prostyle have joined forces to showcase the latest from the label.
That Grape Juice caught up with Pop belter JoJo at Perez Hilon‘s Pre-VMA bash hosted by Carrera and Cut The Rope in Los Angeles last night.
There the 20 year old chatted it up with us about many a topic including her new album, its release date, and its lead single ‘Disaster’ – which she gave us an impromptu taster of on the red carpet.
The track, which she describes as a not-too-distant cousin of 2006’s ‘Too Little Too Late’, hits US radio this week coming.
Time sure does fly. Like many, yours truly can remember exactly where I was upon hearing of the untimely passing of R&B force Aaliyah.
Yet with the 10 year anniversary of the tragedy which robbed the Urban diaspora of one of its brightest lights approaching, BET have opted to celebrate the singer’s short, but oh-so-influential life with a TV special – ‘Aaliyah: One In A Million’. Featuring an all-star cast of contributors, the show will air on August 25th at 8pm ET.

As reported here, legendary jazz/standards singer Tony Bennett is said to have duetted with late British singer Amy Winehouse on her ‘final recording’. The song, a remake of jazz classic ‘Body and Soul’, is just one of the many diva-assisted duets (Lady Gaga, Mariah Carey, Queen Latifah) featured on Bennett’s forthcoming ‘Duets’ album – slated for release on September 20.
Fans of the hit WeTV reality show ‘Braxton Family Values’ should be getting ready to tune their TVs to Toni, Traci, Trina, Towanda, and Tamar as the preview for their sophomore season has just been unveiled. As reported here, fans of the Braxton sisters are being doubly treated as the show was bumped up from a 2012 to a fall 2011 premiere. Additionally,its original 13-episode installment increased to 19-installments.

For, the popular series serves up a dose of the familiar with its 17th cycle – which is set to feature an all-star cast of favourites from previous seasons.
Not to be confused as a gimmicky reunion, the ladies will once again compete for the title of America’s Next Top Model, with the same prizes up for grabs as those featured on prior seasons (namely a fashion spread in Vogue Italia and a $100,000 contract with Covergirl).
The series premiere of the Tyra Banks hosted show kicks off on September 14th. Be sure to keep it locked on That Grape Juice TV for new episodes weekly!
