Dressed in a more relaxed fashion than usual, the performer was snapped cheering Ms. Williams on from the court side and enjoyed the company of film director Spike Lee and television personality Star Jones.

In support of fellow entertainer Lil Wayne,  ‘Goodies’ singer Ciara was one of the many attendees at the release party of the Rappers latest album ‘The Carter IV’ which was released on Itunes last night.

Dressed casually and armed with her trademark smile, the Grammy winning songstress enjoyed the company of many of her peers, some of whom had been present  at the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards hours before.

Last night Urban Pop sensation Ciara shimmered and shone during a performance at the ‘Station Invasion Concert Tour’.

Expected to precede an upcoming album, the live concert showing will see her  perform many of her well loved songs, including ‘Goodies’ and ‘Promise’ as well as most recent effort ‘Gimmie Dat‘.

With reports that LA Reid may be in charge of Ciara’s upcoming project now hotter than ever since the starlet addressed the claim,  many spectators  remain anxious as to what the next chapter of her career may bring.

For with her last album ‘Basic Instinct‘ a  dark commercial and critical memory for many of her supporters, there is no denying that both Ms. Harris’ critics and fans have their fair share of reasons as to why the last few years of her career have been difficult to watch.

One  reason that is often given  is her creative relationship with world renowned producer ‘The Dream’.

Despite boasting potential by the bucketload, Ciara‘s last few projects have been chart disasters. Indeed, so poorly did the singer’s recent ‘Basic Instinct’ LP perform, she subsequently severed ties with longtime label Jive.

However, in what looks like a dramatic turn of events, the 25 year old is reportedly headed back to the Sony Music family, this time under the umbrella of subsidiary label – Epic Records.

R&B vixen Ciara was snapped rocking a much more demure look as she strolled through Los Angeles’ L.A.X Airport last night. The ‘Ride’ singer jetted in to continue rehearsals for her forthcoming summer tour with Taio Cruz.

While many sit ridiculing Ms. Harris, whose career has hit the skids as of late, we see no shame in fighting one’s way back to the top. Is she supposed to sit at home crying? After all, her best arsenal at this point is her performing ability. I say give her a lace front, some wind, a killer backing track, and I’m there. Few can do it like she does, hence she deserves props.
