It was nothing but puppy love when ‘1, 2 Step’ singer Ciara was seen stepping out with pooches Tyson and Georgia.  The R&B starlet is said to be in preparations for a nationwide tour starting July 16th in Miami.

R&B stageblazer Ciara has revealed details of an upcoming joint tour with pop sensation Taio Cruz.  The 10 city trek, called the Radio Maliboom Boom Station Invasion Concert Tour, will see the hit makers make stops in Dallas, New York City, and Miami.

After blazing out of the gate in 2005, Ciara‘s career looked oh-so-promising. Fast forward 6 years and her horizons aren’t looking as bright. Indeed, the last few years have been characterised by poor album sales, dwindling fan support, and a split with her longtime label Jive.

Despite this, many still cite the 25 year old as being one of the industry’s best performers, holding hope that she can one day bounce back.

Therefore, That Grape Juice took to the streets of Hollywood to hear out what the record-buying public think of the ‘Ride’ singer; what went wrong, and how – if at all – she can strike it big once again.

The last few months have seen Ciara spend less time Keeping Up With the Kardashians and more time stregthening her own brand as a gifted entertainer.

Last night, the Atlanta bombshell took her talents to Las Vegas where she enticed fans at Club Chateau  with a scorching performance of some of her much loved music.

“Music makes you lose control”. It indeed does!

This week’s From The Vault is dance-floor filler, ‘Lose Control’ by Missy Elliott – who is joined by Ciara and Fatman Scoop. The high-energy track was released as the first single from Ms. Demeanour sixth studio album, ‘The Cookbook’ (2005).

After the touchdown that was ‘1, 2 Step’, Elliott reached out to Ciara for the 2nd round, resulting in an equally fantastic song (if not, better).

The production on the track (helmed by Elliott herself) gives a nod to the basics of Hip-Hop music by using an Afrika Bambaataa-like beat, all the while staying very “modern” and boasting a near-perfect balance between “Urban” and “Pop”. It’s also important to signify that ‘Control’, with its Hip-Hop meets Electronica composition, was precursory of the Urban-Dance craze that is raging until this day.

With its award-winning video showcasing the dynamic duo’s performing skills, this right here is an absolute high-point of each of the ladies careers.

What’s more, with their artistic chemistry being a match made in heaven (see: ‘Work’, their third collabo), we are convinced the world would love to lose more control with those two. We sure know we would.

R&B vixen Ciara proves she’s just as brave off the stage as she is on it, as she strokes sleeping Cheetah in South Africa.

The ‘Love, Sex, Magic’ singer journeyed to the country over the weekend after performing at Zimbabwe’s ZarFest. Upon arrival, the 25 year old briskly hit the Hluhluwe-Umfolozi Game Reserve, where she soaked up her surroundings.

R&B star Ciara sizzles in a barely there two-piece in US Magazine’s Hot Bodies issue. The ‘Ride’ singer posed for the mini-shoot on the rooftoop of the Mondrian SoHo Hotel in New York recently.

Gushing on her body, she said:

I feel sexiest when I’m by myself, walking around nude. That’s when I feel really good. I have this new obsession with nudity. It may sound weird, but I just love embracing the body. I think it’s beautiful. {Source}

However, most noteworthy in the feature is the announcement that the 25 year old is set to embark on a Summer tour. The news will no doubt delight fans who, since the release of the ill-fated ‘Basic Instinct’ LP last year, have seen very little of the performer. Particularly on a musical tip.

Yet, in as much as it’s great to see Ms. Harris hustle her way back to the top, one has to wonder what kind of tour she’s looking to set out on. For,  with no ‘hit’ to back its cause (not to mention the dismal sales of ‘Instinct’), it’ll definitely be interesting to see if fans flock to any such live set.

Still, given her undeniable ability to thrill as a performer, this could very well be just what she needs to reconnect with her base. Time, as ever, will tell.

Ciara lit up the red carpet  in a figure-hugging ensemble at ‘The Hangover II’ premiere in New York City last night. The ‘Ride’ singer is said to be in the final stages of negotiation for a new record deal.
