Chat-show queen Oprah Winfrey really appears to be pulling out all the stops for the last season of her show. For, the 56 year old billionaire’s latest guests are the family of the late, great Michael Jackson.

In the episode, which is set to air on November 8th, Winfrey visits the Encino, California home of Jackson’s parent’s Katherine and Joseph, meeting and speaking with the King of Pop’s children Prince, Paris, and Blanket while there.

Prior to the show’s airing, Winfrey’s exclusive chat with Pop star Ricky Martin (his first since ‘coming out’) is screened tonight in the US.

When considering Oprah’s negative sentiments towards MJ in his later life, her apparent fixation with his family now (as seen by her chats with Janet this year, the re-run of her initial interview with MJ, and now this) raise serious questions about her intentions. It all somewhat unnerves me. Still, like many, yours truly will be tuning in; hence will hold my words until then.

After much speculation Mariah Carey and husband Nick Cannon have confirmed that they are indeed expecting their first child. The couple also revealed that the happy news comes after they tragically suffered a miscarriage two years ago.

When all else fails, reach for the controversial. This, so it seems, is an M-O aspiring singer Rihanna is well versed-up in. For, despite vowing this time last year to move on from the topic of Chris Brown, The Noise spoke once again on the intimate details of their controversial relationship.

This, of course, having nothing to do with the minimal buzz surrounding her new LP ‘Loud’, which is but a few weeks away from release.

R&B star rocked the red carpet last night at the ‘Ultimate Face-Lift’ gala to benefit the VH1 Save The Music Foundation. The event, which took place at Lord & Taylor‘s in New York, was also attended by the city’s mayor Michael Bloomberg – who was snapped posing with the stunning ‘Ride’ singer.

Randomness: While we evidently take to Ms. Harris here at That Grape Juice, it’s impossible to side-step the fact there’s some serious BS popping off behind the scenes with this ‘Basic Instinct’ project.

All signs point to the album itself having been finished some time ago; yet, despite dropping one of the hottest videos of the year with ‘Gimmie Dat’, her promotional train has barely left the station. No televised performances and minimal interviews. Do her team expect to cram the bulk of her promo-push into the week of release and/or after? If so, they may be in for a rude awakening. Singles, as most know, are used as vehicles to drive album sales. Hence if the singles aren’t being pushed (and believe that both ‘Speechless’ and ‘Gimmie Dat’ are already available on iTunes), then what do they expect back in terms of album sales?

As sad as it is to say, it’s all looking rather bleak at the moment; which has me really itching to see Ciara manage to turn it all around. For, on her end – she appears to be fulfilling her obligations as an artist (delivering hit worthy material, bettering herself as a performer – both vocally and with the choreography); yet the forces around her don’t seem to be syncing to make it all work.

Regardless of how this all pans out, it will be oh-so-interesting to see what changes, if any at all, Ms. Harris makes  (see: label, management, image) after riding this campaign out.

‘Basic Instinct’ hits stores December 14th.

Superstar Beyonce is gearing up for the release of her hotly anticipated ‘I Am…World Tour’ DVD, the cover of which was revealed today. The set features round-the-world performances from the record-breaking trek – marking the first time the singer has released a tour set not based in one city alone.

Either way, fans are certainly in for a treat. With That Grape Juice having attended the show here in London town (twice), we can really vouch for the fact that no one puts on a show like Bouncy in this day and age. No one.

The ‘I Am…World Tour’ DVD hits stores on November 29th.

The last few years has seen talk of a so called celebrity cult, deemed the ‘illuminati’, go into overdrive. Stars from all corners of the entertainment industry have been accused by the movement’s most vocal critics, most of whom circulate their theories on the internet forums, chat rooms, and social networking websites.

It appears the industry is hitting back at the once-laughable, now conceivable claims, with Kanye West this week speaking up on the largely un-addressed topic. The rapper’s use of ‘out-there’ imagery, most recently in his ‘Runaway’ short film, has seen him propelled to the top of the list of those supposedly ‘in and of’ the cult.
