Last week, fans of ‘Disney’ belle Selena Gomez turned a suspicious eye towards Katy Perry, when HITS Daily Double’ published a report claiming the latter had her fired from the management company they were both signed to.

This week, after catching wind of the story, Perry’s manager has issued a statement slamming the report, going to great lengths to explain why ‘HITS’ report was both “damaging” and “malicious.”

It may have taken her a while, but Selena Gomez has finally responded to comments made by Pop ‘Royal’ Lorde, who hit out at the star in an interview available to read here.

Adding fuel to the criticism that already surrounds Selena and her involvement- or lack of it- in crafting her own messages, Lorde‘s estimation of Selena’s influence on young girls saw the star forced to address her during an interview with Hot 99.5.

It’s that time of year again.

The Emmy Awards 2024 air live from the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles on September 15 and will celebrate the titles and talents who’ve made the most marked impact.

As the top honor in television, all eyes are on which shows and stars have nabbed nominations in the show’s 76th year.

Well, wonder no more. Because the full list of nominations has been unveiled and it brings with it good news for ‘Shogun’ – which leads with 25 nods and ‘The Bear’ (starring Ayo Edebiri), which follows with 23.

Elsewhere, there are major looks for ‘Abbott Elementary’ and its lead Quinta Brunson, Donald Glover’s ‘Mr. & Mrs. Smith,’ ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race,’ and Idris Elba.
