After teasing the end of Madea, Tyler Perry has revived the much-loved matriarch for an all-new adventure on Netflix.

Set to premiere on the streamer on February 25, ‘A Madea Homecoming’ centers around Madea’s great-grandson’s college graduation.

True to form, the surface celebrations take a turn when the fun family festivities end up drenched in drama due to shocking secrets. The chaos runs the risk of derailing the tight-knit unit forever. Can they quell the fiery flames? Folk will have to tune in.

‘A Madea Homecoming’ reunites several stars from the Madea franchise, including Tamela Mann (Cora), David Mann (Mr. Brown), and Cassi Davis Patton (Aunt Bam). The film also features a special appearance from Irish actor Brendan O’Carroll, who brings the funny as Agnes Brown.

It’s almost time for the 53rd Annual NAACP Image Awards.

Unveiling its full list of nominations today, the prestigious awards honors actors, actresses, singers, authors, and activists of color, in and out of the entertainment industry.

Jennifer Hudson, Lil Nas X, H.E.R., ‘The Harder They Fall,’ and ‘Insecure’ lead the pack of film, TV, and music nominees.

The Harder They Fall’ and HBO’s “Insecure” each amassed 12 noms in their respective categories, while H.E.R. is the most-nominated musician with six noms to her name.

Elsewhere Netflix leads in the TV and motion picture categories.

Lana Del Rey has been busy cooking up new music.

Case in point, a new song is teased in the trailer for next week’s episode of ‘Euphoria.’ 

Earlier this month, it had been speculated that the ‘Summertime Sadness’ songstress had written a song for the HBO drama show.

As of reporting, only a snippet can be heard. As a result, the name is unknown. Additionally, it is not clear if the song will appear in season 2 episode 3, or if it merely serves as a general preview of new music.

Janet Jackson is the February cover star of Allure Magazine. 

As reported, the Pop queen serves regal in the Tom Munro lensed shoot.

The revered spread arrives ahead of the hotly anticipated premiere of the Rock & Roll Hall of Famer’s two-night documentary event on January 28. 

Self-titled, the Lifetime special – which Jackson has executive produced – will chronicle all corners of her life with a raw candidness that promises to showcase her story like never before.
