Lil Nas X‘s ‘Call Me By Your Name’ and ‘Industry Baby’ may have been two of 2021’s biggest hits, but – as evidenced by recent news from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) – their respective reigns are set to extend into 2022.
The same week the latter bounced back into the Hot 100’s top 10 (nearly six months after its release), the Jack Harlow-assisted cut has been greeted with word it’s crossed the RIAA’s threshold for triple Platinum status – meaning it’s sold the equivalence of 3 million copies in the United States alone.
That’s not the only good report the GRAMMY winner got this week, however.
