New Song: Leona Lewis – ‘Forgive Me’
With the US release of Leona Lewis’ debut LP ‘Spirit’ just around the corner (due April 8th), a new track from the anticipated set has surfaced. Produced and written by Akon, ‘Forgive Me’ is a funky Pop/R&B cut that sees the UK sensation embrace a much more edgier sound, as well as subject matter. Though perhaps slightly premature, I’m hoping this is the direction Leona explores more on her sophomore LP.

OMG I thought I would hate both of the new tracks I mean Maddscientist and Akon are some of my most love/hate producers but I’ve loved both of them! This is definitely the most contemporary R&B track she’s done in her “official” recording career (i.e. The “Spirit” era) I love the “oh-ohs” you can tell Akon wrote them in but it sounds so much better with Leona singing them rather than Akon’s fucking bird voice!
I will be picking the US release up just because, I know I’m sad but I’m a Leona stan! I hope they put some new pics in or some shit to make it worthwhile!

its sound like something rihanna would do…i just dont see her making thi skinda music…and her voice duits ballads more…the song itself is aiight not as good as bleeding love

It sounds like Sweet Escape by Gwen & Akon…lool though i think Leona has a good track here…both this n Misses Glass are good tracks! Congrats for Leona!

Britsh dont get the rough end of the deal! Leona will release Forgive Me later this year in the Uk around september/october including a video currently been shot in L.A!Leona knows that if she had put Forgive Me on the UK album people might have gotten bored with her music because she is currently touring the world with her hit singled BL and BIT so she knew it would be a while before she released a new single in the UK and many people would have gotten bored with Leona’s Uk album so she’s doing it as a surprise! People wont expect her to break back into the charts with Forgive me! she;ll then probably release Spirit(Deluxe Edition) featuring Forgive Me, Misses Glass and You Bring me down on!
