In a recent interview with the Singers Room, The-Dream revealed that he is currently working on Beyonce’s new album. Check out what the yet-to-go-platinum singer had to say below:
So what else are you working on and who else are you working with for the rest of the year?
I’m working on a reality show, I’m working with this girl name Kasha who’s here today. We’ll probably get her album done within the week. Ciara’s already started on her project. You know, Rihanna, Beyonce, the same beautiful people every year. It’s a cycle. We’ve gotta get that money.
It’s great to see that Beyonce is maintaining a quiet momentum behind the scenes while she enjoys her vacation. However, while he did create magic for Beyonce with ‘Single Ladies’, this news comes as a bit worrying. The-Dream seems to be a 1 trick pony when he develops a hit with certain artists, with all subsequent tracks following almost an identical formula to the original. In fact, most of Mariah Carey’s ‘Memoirs of An Imperfect Angel’ album was based on the same finger-snapping production and Sesame Street melodies of their initial hit ‘Touch My Body’.
Hopefully Beyonce’s next album does not suffer the same fate as that release. The-Dream may consider a gold album a major accomplishment in his own career but Beyonce is only accustomed multi-platinum.

If she wants to stay on top then her next album has to be very different and speak in many levels then what we are used of from her. Her eras reminds me of Janet’s. Janet’s peak was Rythm Nation, then she came back and surpise us with the over top sexual Janet album, which can also be considered another high peak for Janet. Same with Bey when she released IMSF with SL. Now we all taught by 95, Janet reached her highest and she has nothing to prove, then all of a sudden, she hit us with the Velevet Rope. A different concept then what we are used to seeing her do… N that became another massive HIT for Janet. Then by 2001, erbody was giving her probs, and legend & icon awards etc… See this 4th album by Bey will show if she is that good and if she can stay on top of the game.

i will be buying Ciara’s basic instinct. I loved the entire Fantasy Ride CD, EXCEPT FOR THAT SONG WITH THE DREAM. So far, on the new CD I love Ride in original form, like the dance form, love blauw, and love basic instinct vide at the end. Whenever I like at least 3 songs I buy.
I just hope that Ciara’s new CD doesn’t cost me more than $25 like Fantasy Ride did, but I did enjoy watching the behind the scenes CD. However, most cant afford to spend that on CD, so I hope she keeps her price to $15 and below.

I don’t understand all the hate towards Beyonce. Is it because she is successfull? A few people on this blog keep saying that she will flop…people were saying that about her last album, and that album has sold almost 7 million WW, and 3 million in the US. If that’s what people call a flop, then I wish was a flop. I love and admire Beyonce because she doesn’t use gimmicks or drama to sell records. The reason she is a multi-platimum artist, and can sell out stadiums and arenas, is because she is talented. For those who says she is boring, are you talking about her everyday life, if you are I cannot debate you on that because I do not know Beyonce personnally, but no one who’ve seen her in concerts or on awards shows can ever call her performance boring. Beyonce is amazing, and eventhough you may not like her you can’t deny she is an amazing performer.

I don’t read blogs, because I never have the time normally, but I can’t sleep so i started to google about Beyonce’s new single and came across this site I was very interested to know when the beautiful, super talented Beyonce was going to release her new single…Beyonce won me over big time when I went to see her I AM Tour early 2009 I was so impressed and overwhelmed by her, she as the most amazing voice live, even when she is nonstop dancing.
The fact that Beyonce’s I Am Tour was also theatrical was the icing on the cake for me.
I wanted to see what everyone was saying about Beyonce’s new up coming single etc, I was so shocked at some of the childlike people on here, I thought I was in kindergarden!
The saying rings very true, that if you have people hating on you that much it means you have made it big time and are very successful! so its a big compliment for Beyonce be it good or bad… its when people stop talikng about you that’s when its time to worry, but in Beyonce’s case I think she will be around for a long time, and when the day comes when she no longer entertains us, she will never want for anything. I have nothing bad to say about other artists even if their music etc isn’t for me, I just turn the radio, tv etc over and thats that. There is something for everyone. Having a good debate or an opinion is great but getting personal about it is childish and a little sad unless your under 15 then fair enough you can get away it, you will grow in time.
