On dedicating a song to her mother:
“In the past, I’ve written mostly from my own perspective. But I just wrote a song for my next album that was inspired by a conversation I had with a man who was expressing how indebted he feels to God. He said, ‘I owe God.’ Now, what an interesting thought. And as much as I believe in God, for me that translated into how much I owe my mother for who I am. So I went home and I wrote I Owe You. It’s dedicated to her…”

@cherayla I agree in part with brandonwayere it is about her music talent not her decisions in her personal life, the general public wouldn’t purchase or like a lot of artist music if we applied there lyrics to their actual life. We don’t know what exactly went down in these people personal lives all we know is what we read and hear. I believe the picture is beautiful and I will read the article because I like her as an artist.

@cherayla hey I watched Lve and Hip Hop and seen the one where Mashonda says the comment about Alicia’s song karma lyrics, but this women knew that her husband was stepping out on her, I understand in that world it comes with the territory all the rumors and crap but her women instincts told her, but she dealt with the crap until her hand was forced and he wanted out of the marriage. Mashonda herself said that she didn’t think it was as serious as it was, she realized it when things went left in other words he didn’t want to do the dance anymore and wanted out. Alicia looks absolutely amazing on this cover. One of the classiiest ladies today. Also one of the greatest performers of all time. Alicia looks very mature in the picture and thin. ??? Could just be the picture. Anyway I would never want to see her too thin. Love this lady and wish her the very best. First of all, Alicia Keys is beautiful! She is the epitome of beauty, class and brains. Her personal life or decisions is none of my business or anyone’s for that matter. Nobody knows what happened between the parties involved EXCEPT the 3 involved. I love her music and that is all that matters to me.

Neither of these women (AK nor Fantasia) deserved the torment they received from the righteous online cowards who choose to make other peoples lives their own personal vendeta to play with and slander.
