Looks like PPL are really feeling Best Thing I Never Had, I suggest those that dont like it listen to it AGAIN^^^. I thought it sounded AVG & Lousy like some unreleased track from IASF at 1st but now I have it on REPEAT!!
All the queens from the early 2000s that have put out albums, have flopped. I mean, Christina’s “Bionic”, Avril’s “Goodbye Lullaby” AND Godney’s “Femme Fatale” have underperformed commercially. Needless to mention, Alicia Keys’ previous album is also considered a flop when comparing it to her prior releases. I wonder how it turns out for Beyonce. Right now I’m wishing that she’d just push back the album a couple of months, make MORE songs, DELETE “Run The World” and come up with a new lead-single and then just call that crap “Run The World” a promotional single. That’d be the best I think. Mathew Knowles, where are you? I’m worried for my Bey!

How much did I am sell first week out? Her fan base is getting smaller think about it. B day sold 3 million in the states so did I am and her tour didn’t sell out here. Nor did it overseas and yes I do know which tours brought in the most money. However, RTW didn’t garner enough appeal to multiple audiences (if any). 1+1 is beautiful and so is Best I Never Had. However, the mainstream music trend is not into that right now. Either Bey is out of touch with her fans, struggling with her m management, or embarking on her “Black Sheep” album. Every artist has one.
For Britney it was the Blackout album. For Rihanna it was Rated R. For Kelly Clarkon it was My December. While these albums may not have had amazing commercial success, these artists developed a sound that had never been experimented with. It was a sound that they needed to get out of their systems which made them personal.”Gimme More” “Hard” and “Never Again” were good and new songs suited for these artists. For example: Britney and Rihanna had just gone through rough periods in their lives when they released these albums, making them darker and more personal. But the work that came after these albums were mega commercial successes (ie Circus, LOUD, All I Ever Wanted). So this LP fromo Bey will probably be amazing, but not a chart topper.

The album will do fine, she just needs to get out and promote, because right now she’s not doing anything for that album. I hope she’s not thinking because she has been successful for almost 15 years she doesn’t have to promote. The album has already sold 120,000 copies on pre-orders alone in a week, and you know most album sales come from physical copies, but she really needs to promote. I don’t like Rihanna as a singer or performer, but you can’t knock that woman’s hustle she stay promoting. Also, before a Rihanna stan say Beyonce is releasing her album early for sales, Rihanna did the same thing, it just didn’t debut high, it only worked it’s way into the top 10 in the final week and a half.

I’m not looking forward to three different versions of, “WRTW”. I hope these other songs are good. The 4 songs that she’s released so far are o.k. Their not great, their just o.k. to me. Therefore, if songs 1-12 on the first disc were supposed to be her “best” songs from her 72 bunch that she hand picked to be on her CD, then it makes you wonder what does the rest of the songs sound like? Unlike ALL you STANS, I am not going to JUMP to conclusions AND stamp this ALBUM as the ‘ALBUM of THE YEAR’ quite yet. The new material Beyonce has released thus far has been…what’s the word I’m looking for? Amateur! I am a big Beyonce fan BUT we all know she can do better then what’s been put out. I think she was trying to go for a more indie inspired sort of album & didn’t know how to exactly create that sort of sound, so she stuck to what was safe. Basic R&B (1+1 & Best I Never Had) & a overused beat that has been sampled by the entire industry (Girls WHO run the WORLD). I am excited to hear the rest of the ALBUM, simply because I need to hear something different from Beyonce. If none of her other tracks can deliver then we may have a POSSIBLE flop on our hands. I’m just calling it what IT is. It’s not about having the best Euro-Pop track or some overly produced dance track to top the charts. It’s all about Originality & good music. Ask Adele! Shes topping the charts w/o any sort of sale-out pop sound. Beyonce is madddd talented AND deserves the best, IM just not thrilled exactly yet. #JustSaying.

Schoolin Life is my favorite song from this album. It is fire.. I like the energy of it and I like all her other songs too. sIncluding all the remixes of RTW. I personally liked the song when It first came out and thought it was a cool song.. Grant it, it didnt get all the credit it deserved, but I personally appriciated the music. Bey Supprises me in what ever she does. On B-day, I thought she would go more “Crazy In Love” but she went 1920’s-1930′. On I Am Sasha Fierce, I thought she was going to go more farah faucet and cheerleader, but she went Good Vs.Evil… and with 4 I thought she was going to out do Sasha and make some club bangers but she got personal and a showed the natural Beyonce with out all the Hollywood.
