New Song: Shontelle – ‘Ten to One’

Published: Thursday 24th Nov 2011 by Sam

Pop trier Shontelle continues to show that she sweats perseverance. Indeed, though the Bajan singer-songwriter has struggled to replicate the success of earlier hits ‘T-Shirt’ and ‘Impossible’, she stays releasing material; the latest of which being Dance Pop cut ‘Ten to One’.

Not to be mislabeled a single of any sort, Rihanna‘s former schoolmate and collaborator instead is releasing the track to her fans as a Holiday gift.

Take a listen after the jump…

ummm, her hits are pop r&b not dance!!! why does she keep trying to go dance!?!?!?1 she need’s more of a pop r&b sound!! its gonna be impossible for her to get another hit if she keeps up with this dance music!!

She needs to stop giving rihanna her best songs and keep some for herself. Shontelle only songs I like was T-shirt and Impossible.

I’d like it better if this were R&B. I’m tired of seeing black artists make pop music. Let Rihanna do that gay ass pop crap, Shontelle would have more cred with me if she opted for urban music instead.

This sound like a left over dance that Kelly Rowland should have done.
Rhianna and Kelly are the only two black artist who can do dance
and R&B really well. Shonetelle voice is too heavy to try and sing
dance music, she is trying make her voice sound light and squeeze
like most of the pop artist.
