Much to the delight of Usher lovers, the coming months will see the release of material from his latest project.
So in support of the as yet untitled set, and so as to whet the appetites of these very fans, today saw the release of ‘Climax‘, the LP’s first offering.
Listen below…
Where do we begin.
From the electro tinged backing track, pitch perfect vocals and stunning lyrics, Usher can expect ‘Climax’ to ‘peak’ impressively on a number of fronts.
Because, in what can only add to the respect we have for him, the jam showcases his skill for setting trends, fusing R&B with electro to forge this beast of a ballad.

it’s a snooze. Don’t expect this to do anything on POP. It’ll be huge on URBAN radio and nothing else.

Usher proves yet again why he is a SUPERSTAR. He always gets it right …. Why is he soooo consistent while everyone else in R&B is so whack right now???
looking forward to the CD.

I know this is an Usher Post but CB needs to take a clue, note, step whatever after Usher for improving his voice. I big up Usher all the time for working on his craft, his voice was decent but somewhere in between 8701 and Confessions that boy WENT IN, he went to work and that’s why he was a success.
Oh and the song, classic Usher. I need a few more listens but like all his stuff it grows on me.

I love this…, with the death of Amy, Whitney and the subsequent success of Adele what the public is craving again is vocals and great singing…, I think this is a bold bridge building track between what’s been and what’s hopefully going to be the new dawn. Not to say it’s a great song but I really enjoyed the chilled but still electronic feel. Very left field which IMO is always where you find the best music.

It’s alright, but he seriously needs to drop this “electro” crap. I can’t stand it and he’s alienating his core fan base.

Wow! Yes! Usher slayed me. Climax is hot! Finally Usher found himself. He was lost on this chaotic dance sensation on radios, He put it all together and managed to create a different sound, it’s mainstream but with soul and passion.
U is back!
