The countdown to Madonna’s ‘MDNA’ is underway.
Material Madge has linked up with Perez Hilton to premiere material from the hotly anticipated set each week in the run-up the album’s March 26th store date.
The next up?
‘Falling Free’. Take a listen after the jump!
Easily the best we’ve heard from the album yet, it’s startling how disjointed this is from the hit-seeking material elsewhere on the record.
That said, it’s always better to have gems on the album (however random they may be) than none at all.
Your thoughts?

Hmm I don´t know… but I just had a revelation: how is it that we are always judging albums only by the snippets nowadays? I refuse. I´m not feeling it but so what!? These are jsut snippets

@RIHANNA NAVY-Screw Rihanna. Atleast Madonna can write her own music and dance. Rihanna can’t do either or sing. She’s not even an artist

I smell a FLOP on March 26th. Momma Monster already SLAYED her career! Mandonna just need to sit at home and soak her granny panties. We dont need Granny to injury herself, trying to keep up with Momma Monster and the other youngsters.

Foreal. This album is gonna flop. No joke. Shes has no hit singles and nobody is really checking for her. She might as well join the Monsters and bow down to Momma Monster. Gaga is that Bish rite now! Along with THE QUEEN! Nobody is checking for a old lip syncing Granny. We have a young lip sync singer and thats Britney. We dont need a Grandma. Thats pushing 80.

Madonna isn’t a singles popstar anymore, she’s a live act…when the tour is over she’s be the top live act this year and all these new pop starlets will know who the real Queen of Pop is!!!

@Lara…..Dont u mean the queen of poop. True Kings and Queens have real undeniable talent! Like The Queen of Soul..Aretha Franklin. Like The King of Pop..Michael Jackson. Like The Queen of Hip Hop Soul..Mary J Blidge. The True Queens are Whitney, Mariah and Celine. They have one way or another outsold Mandonna and have True Undeniable Talent! Mandonna is nothing but a mere Princess, especially now. THE QUEEN is rite beside Whitney (R.I.P), Mariah and Celine as The Reigning Queens of Pop! They have the True talent, plus the sales!

Now THAT is more like it!! I actually think she’ll have a lot of hidden gems on the album, even though I wish she had more slow songs like this one, but even some of her techno/ electropop material will be much better than the awful second single

This is great. the snippets so far have been good, but I know the entire record will slay effortlessly.
Being that the pre-orders for the album are ridiculous right now, the album will surely do good in the short-term and maybe in the long-term. That is without price slashes or a holiday sale push (i.e. tactics by Lady Gaga and Rihanna*)
Additionally, the fact that her tour is coming up soon, she’ll sell fairly well.
Rihanna is already working on her 7th album in as many years. I hope she’ll actually get a clue that she’s irrelevant and has no talent because I’ve been sick of her since the end of the ‘Rated R’ era. Madonna’s gonna show her how it’s really done.
womp!

She actually possesses a very nice tone to her voice, when she USES her voice instead of masking it behind autotune or trying too hard to sound generic.
People love her for her music that she SANG from her soul, like “Like a Prayer”, “Frozen”, even “Like a Virgin”, because she just used her voice naturally and freely in those songs instead of trying to modify it with effects or trying too hard to sound hip or “down with the kids and sexy” which she does too much of now and frankly does not surprise me if she doesn’t gather hits doing it. If she had written a new song with the quality and delivery of “Like a Prayer” or “Frozen”, the Superbowl crowd would’ve made it popular, instead she came out with something generic and boring and not even 100 million viewers of free advertising can help with a boring song.

Lmao at some of the delusional gaga fans who comment on Madonna posts. I’m not gonna say anything bad about gaga. She’s a sweet girl, but PLEASE!! SHE slaying Madonna’s career??!! Hahahaha gaga is popular, but not close to being as popular as Madonna at her peak. And gaga has been around for like 4 years. How the hell are you going to already be saying gaga slayed the legendary Madonna’s career?! You couldn’t even claim gaga slayed the career of Britney spears! Britney was also way more popular at her peak than gaga and was still more popular after 4 years in the game than gaga. What are you clowns smoking on?

So there IS a decent song on MDNA – I’m no fan of Madonna’s but this song is lovely. A haunting sound and it suits her voice far more than the first two crappy singles she has released, I might actually buy this one. What a shame she chose such poor first and second singles when she had this she could have released instead ;o)
