Are they? Aren’t they?
These are questions which have remained a constant when discussing the “relationship” between singer Ashanti and rapper Nelly.
Dispelling any confusion, the dapper duo pair stepped out arm-in-arm at the DKMS Charity Gala in New York City last night.
It marks the first time in some time the St. Louis MC has been seen out and about – particularly since the release of his ’5.0′ LP many moons ago. As for Ashanti, the ‘Happy’ singer continues to do the promo rounds in an attempt to jump start her ‘Braveheart’ project.

The thing I don’t understand about them is why, after all this time, they aren’t engaged or married?
The dude barely claims her…in fact, now that I think about it, wasn’t there an interview that he did during promo for his last cd where he said he had never claimed to be with her or anyone? And that he’d only be “married” to his new cd?
Furthermore, the whole “are they/aren’t they” was cute back in ’03, but both of them have seen a dramatic drop in popularity, so what’s all the cloak and dagger about?
Is she really ok with him not even putting a ring on it after pretty much 10 yrs together? How many women are ok with that? Eventually, she’s gonna be at that age where kids won’t be possible…you know what? I’ll stop, before I get worked up, lol.
Sidenote: I know I’m not the only one who noticed she matched her hair tip color with his tie.

Uh “LATE” do you know them.
How do you know they are not engaged?
We don’t hear much of anything from either of them about what’s going on in their relationship so I highly doubt they will broadcast if they are engaged.
And that “I’m married to my album” came from Ashanti first..he’s just following her lead on that.

I think they are married already…..and want to keep it that way so they stay mum. The minute someone finds out they are married then the infidelities rumor start and he got a secret love child and she was creeping with so and so and such and such……give them the same decency and respect you give them other relationship. I will always say they would make some pretty babies with nice bodies…he is FINE and she is GORGEOUS……alicia keys > swizz beats, beyonce> jay z, j-lo $$$$> casper -$…they compliment each other totally.

Ashanti looks alright.
Wish she would comeback with a amazing track and stop promoting ‘The Woman You Love’ because that just isn’t a decent single, it is a mediocre album track. Nothing more though.
