Monica‘s ‘New Life’ may have set sail to a slow start, yet that hasn’t deterred the soulful songbird from pressing on.
Taking to Twitter this week, she revealed the LP’s latest single offering. Find out what she’s lined up as the follow-up to ‘It All Belongs To Me’ after the jump…
Writing on her official page, Ms. Brown announced that the Polow Da Don produced ‘Without You’ is the project’s next release.
And granted we’d have preferred ‘Daddy’s Good Girl’, we can’t say this is a “bad” choice. Take a listen below…

GREAT choice! It’s one of the standouts of the album! I hope it does well on urban radio, because the previous 3 singles weren’t big radio hits. That said, I’m definitely glad that her label moved fast this time. She needs to have a new song on radio and they know it, so good for them, because her previous era, even though the album had more potential, was incredibly slow (it took them 3 months to release the follow-up to ‘Everything To Me’)

Biggest Mistake would have been the perfect choice on the heels of Everything to me.. Just saying
I feel like “Daddy’s Good Girl” or “Man Who Has Everything” would be a better choice, especially if she’s really looking for a hit on urban radio. I hope “Without You” makes some moves for her. Regardless though I’m really pleased with the album has a whole. It definitely is her most mature body of work yet and shows that she’s really not too concerned about keeping up with the mainstream R&B/pop acts now. She just does what she does best and pleases her fans. Great R&B music right here!
This was actually the standout song to me. I can’t stop replaying it! It is a beautiful love song, and it’s a little different then what she usually does. I think the song has potential to be a smash on both R&B and the pop charts, especially of they have a great video to accompany it. This is definitely a great choice!

Please moderator nobody wanna hear daddy’s good girl but you……..that song aint no hit………just another additional track on the Cd….if she release any song should be without you as she did, 3D which is a bonus song…….and man who has everything is a good song…….hopefully one of those will be next
I love the entire album. Without You is a great song.
I still don’t get how “Until It’s Gone” didn’t do better, it’s a fantastic song. Hell, ‘Anything (To Find You)’ was great too imo, granted I wasn’t too excited about the feature. Both better than ‘It All Belongs To Me’, which I grew to love but is a weak song by both Monica and Brandy. I hope they didn’t spend much for that track.
I don’t care what anyone says, Monica rocks. Looking forward to the video and also looking forward to Brandy’s new single.
People need to stop the false war between them. They’re grown, mature women. They don’t need s***** fans like you guys pitting them against each other.
R&B would be much better off as a whole if the fans would stop being so stupid and pitting all the artists against each other. It’s no wonder Pop is overflowing the airwaves.
