Soul-filled songbird Jill Scott brought her enchanting journey to the VH1 Storytellers stage last night.
There the Philadelphia native brought down the house with titillating renditions of hits such as ‘Golden’ and ‘A Long Walk’. Newer cuts such as ‘Blessed’ (from current LP ‘The Light of the Sun’) were also apportioned time to shine.

Jill did her thang….good show. She’s so pretty. I hated those pants, but her hair and make were good.
I was never a big fan of Jill’s , but after watching her show, I wanted to go purchase her cd’s

I remember when Nicki Minaj’s fans tried to shade Jill after she commented on Nicki’s Grammy performance. They asked Jill did she have a grammy (eluding to the fact that she wasn’t a good artist) and Jill said three, do you want to come and dust them for me?
Then they asked her if she liked Lil Kim and she said, of course. I always did and always will. HAHA What can you do with youngstas but laugh at them. But when you have an artist as old as Nicki Minaj using Sophie and Grace as a benchmark to whether she should record a song, what do you expect?
