When singer Frank Ocean shared his truth with the masses this week, his actions were hailed as revolutionary. Indeed, a bevy of big industry names have come out in support of the talented star, who revealed that his first love was a man.
Alas, joining the likes of Russell Simmons and Busta Rhymes in endorsing Ocean’s courageous move is Pop megastar Beyonce.
The 30 year old, who invited Ocean to work on her ’4′ LP (the result of which was the Ocean inked ‘I Miss You’), took to her official website today, posting a simple, yet potent note of support.

While I do hate to see celebrities compared with other celebs because I feel they should be judged as their own person and on their individual talents one cannot help but to compare the massive talent that is Beyonce with Michael Jackson.
Ever since we first saw this woman hit the stage as a member of girl-group Destiny’s Child, she has consistently delivered show-stopping performances with a level of effort that can only be compared to the likes of Michael Jackson. I get exhausted just watching the amount of energy she puts into a single performance.
She is definitely an innovator who continues to move with the times and does a wonderful job at keeping us all guessing at what it is she might do next. It has truly been an awesome experience to witness the birth and growth of a legend in times where it is difficult to find real, consistent skill and ability.
Not since the days of Prince, Michael Jackson and Madonna have we seen someone command a stage in the way that Beyonce continues to do. Beyonce helps us to remember that it takes a little more than auto-tune to be a good singer. A real star is also a performer.
