Trust me, I’ve tried but this album is just awful lyrically and even production wise. Numb is AWFUL. They slowed the tempo from the demo and it sounds terrible. Phresh off the Runway is…no. I thought I’d like Half of Me but it left much to be desired lyrically and wasn’t as deep as I hoped it was going to be. Love Song sound a mess with the man on it moaning like a seal and Nobody’s Business is yet another attention seeking stunt and sound like sh*t. She needs to apologize for this album…TTT was her worst until this..

…..No ma’am. A lot of the songs I like by her aren’t always singles (G4L, Photographs, Skin, Fading). There are no songs on this album that’ll grow on me, no matter how much I’m bombarded by them. I liked the demo version of Numb before the slowed the tempo to what the album version is, sounds ssoo stupid and Eminem was a disappointment. There are no “radio” songs on this album other than Diamonds.

I think that’s because radio songs are usually basic and very repetitive which sums up this album to a T. Numb has about 8 different sentences tops including many other closer to being radio songs than others. They’re dumb and sounds like they took an 8th grader to write up the songs. G4l had a concept lyrically which painted a picture and stood for something. It fit the concept of the album (which this album does not have) and sounds like a REAL writer wrote it.

I don’t get why TTT had to even be created. It was so filler-ish. Not a classic. Although most of the songs were catchy. This album I relistened to some of the songs. They actually do have a good vibe on them and potential but I don’t hear too many hits coming from this album. It’s kinda bland. No love allowed and Diamonds are nice songs though. I don’t understand how ppl like Nobody’s Business. Ugh. That’s an awful song. Overall tho, I realize the marketing strategies with Rih’s team: to keep putting music out every year for her to be relevant. And it worked. Lol. But y year after year?? Such desperation. Not by Rihanna. But her team that constantly milks her.

Rihanna is such a drama queen whether in a good way or bad way. I remember Pink getting excited about her first US #1 album she was excited but she wasn’t dramatic about it.
Still with the reign that Rihanna has right now over music 230k is the best she could do? That means only 230k people in the US were interested in buying her music. You’d think with all her hype she sell more than 230k. On top of that, it did not even match the predictions from billboard or hitsdailydouble.

She should cry over the fact that it’s taken her 7 albums and damn near a decade to reach a feat that many artists achieve with their debut albums. She should cry over the fact two recent albums (that basically play to the same demographic as hers) debuted at #1 with over 500k and 1 million units sold during their first week, while hers — released during the busiest shopping week of the year — only got a piddly 238k. She should also cry over how the second week sales drop on an album that sold under 250k is bound to be ugly.

Actually I keep telling people if Rihanna would release her album on another day instead all the competition, she would’ve had 7 #1 albums. Bey released her album around June of 2011 with no competion.
