Soulful crooner Miguel has been riding a career high this year. Not only was his sophomore set ‘Kaleidoscope Dream’ been hailed by critics, its lead single ‘Adorn’ is one of the most successful R&B releases this year.
Yet, clearly aware that the hustle must continue, the 25 year old hit the stage on ‘Ellen’ today, serving up a show-stopping performance of the track.
Watch Miguel justify his hype below…

Bruno Mars puts more soul in one syllable singing than Miguel in a sentence…

I simply love Miguel! He’s a true artist! He may not be selling millions YET, but trust me; he has a loooong career ahead of him!
*blasts Do You*
And someone asked why Bruno Mars is more successful. It’s simple. While hes a dope artist, his music tends to be very commercial and fluffy. He’s a “pop-soul” artist, while Miguel is more of an “alternative R&B-experimental” artists.
There’s room for both guys in the industry.

Woowee!
Grammy night ain’t coming fast enough for me. I’m pretty sure I’m going to cry when he will go pick his award.
If the Grammy committee doesn’t get this right this time, I’m going Jenny Johnson on them, believe me.

Miguel is a dope performer and I see Adorn being nominated in the R&B category at next years grammys. His style quite similar to Bruno Mars. You can say he’sthe urban or black Bruno Mars!
