Chloe x Halle Electrify ‘The Late Late Show’ With ‘Everywhere’ [Video]

Published: Saturday 10th Nov 2018 by Sam

Chloe x Halle are bringing the heat!

Having honed their craft on tour with their mentor/label-head Beyonce, the sister duo are showing up and showing out with the seasoning they’ve acquired.

They didn’t just take to the stage on ‘The Late Late Show With James Corden,’ they owned it with a seismic performance of ‘Everywhere’ – lifted from their debut album ‘The Kids Are Alright.’

Watch the young ladies in action after the jump…

Well, ok…slay!

Previous live showings from the group have skewed more mellow, but this saw them sprinkle a little youthful essence and extravagance and the result was captivating.

Vocally they delivered and the choreography (though subtle) still packed ample potency.

We’ve enjoyed a lot of what we’ve seen and heard from the ladies, but performances like this make clear that they now demand folks’ attention. And we love it!

      They look like Rihanna.

The are so RETRO, BEAUTIFULLY that it’s insane. If these girls had been out in the early and mid 90s, they would be instant legends in the girl group era … INSTANT.

I LOVE THEIR TALENT and believe in what they are doing!

  3. B2B November 10, 2018

They slay. Their album is worth a few listens for sure. Enjoyed their energy at OTR2

Soooo normani gets beat up for being obviously inspired by Beyoncé yet these two sound and act like her and they get a hard pass…and no I don’t care that they are signed to Beyoncé’s label they still are little cutouts of her.

    • Keith November 10, 2018

While I like Normani and wish her well, she (right now) is a direct copy of Beyonce. Chloe X Halle have Beyonce’s imprint but they are doing their own thing. That’s why they get a “hard pass”. Kinda like Prince and the Time…

      • Bam November 11, 2018

Yet they aren’t doing their own thing as their vocal stylings and delivery all scream Beyoncé. Normani doesn’t have the vocals to be compared to Beyoncé in that way but these girls do and on every live performance I’ve seen from them I just hear Beyoncé. This group seems to be pretty much what a Kelly and Beyoncé duo would’ve sounded like in their teens.

They are the new Changing Faces

      @Achoo – Not

I haven’t been impressed with these two, because all I hear is Beyonce’s vocal styling when they sing. I want to hear their own original voices.

Beyonce “vocal styling”in their delivery. Yes, yes, yes!
      #Totally Agree

  7. Meme November 11, 2018

They sing way too much like Beyoncé. In everyone way. And that’s not a good thing.

    • S.U.P.E.R.S.T.A.R.!. November 11, 2018

I was thinking that they are “acting” or delivering their music like her to on this one. I don’t get this whole performance. It’s such a mess.

    • DanYiel November 11, 2018

At least they’re not singing flat like Ri-Whine-A!!?

  8. S.U.P.E.R.S.T.A.R.!. November 11, 2018

This is one of the weirdest performance I’ve seen in a long time. I don’t understand the outfits, the stage “performance,” the set (smoke, partial orchestra and partial “band.” This crap just screamed “mess” to me. They are obviously talented but I just don’t get it.
    #Confused.

      This!

They’ve always sounded good to me which is why I purchased this album!!?

  10. Aretha Franklin November 11, 2018

They are talented vocalists, but their music sucks.

    I’m loving them

Chloe x Halle, I usually love so much of what you deliver vocally. And I know you’re ready to show the world your new level of maturity. .

So, what’s with this hyper-superficiality (that wardrobe) bandwagon aesthetic? Is this a glimpse of the new creative direction? Ugh?

Secure the bag. BUT, hoping you don’t evolve into another one of the latest aesthetic cliché’s. That your creative direction and vocals do the absolute OPPOSITE of anything your mentor beyonce, etc. is and does… because. it’s. been. done.

The closest we will get to a Rhianna and Beyonce duet ????????
