Months after pulling the plug on their ‘On the Run Tour’, Beyonce and Jay Z have welcomed Armand de Brignac Champagne to their growing empire this year, doing so after the latter acquired the luxury label from ‘Sovereign Brands.’

Name dropped in Beyonce’s hit single ‘Drunk in Love’, Brignac – commonly known as ‘Ace of Spades‘- was purchased by Jay Z in a deal set to add more zeros to the rapper’s net worth, reportedly at the $540 million mark as of this year.
In a statement released today, ‘Sovereign’ revealed:
We are proud to announce that Sovereign Brands, a New York-based wine and spirits company owned by the Berish family, has sold its interest in the Armand de Brignac (‘Ace of Spades’) Champagne brand to a new company led by the globally renowned Shawn ‘Jay Z’ Carter.
We have had a wonderful relationship with Jay Z throughout the years since he first discovered Armand de Brignac. He became interested in owning the brand and made us an offer we simply couldn’t refuse.
Details on the deal are yet to be disclosed, but fans of the power couple will be pleased to learn that the acquisition will see them extend their reign as music’s most bankable couple, now worth over $1 billion when their respective net worths are combined.

“sold its interest” Jay Z has purchased their interest and he had already an interest in the company. It is called shares and there are other shareholders. The question is: what is the percentage? Remember he had a share of the NETS and it was less than .05%, which is nothing in realm of things.
