As Beyonce continues work on her as-yet-untitled third solo album, a new song, presumed to be from the set, has surfaced. ‘Beautiful Nightmare’ sees the singer delve into new musical territory – dabbling with a more Pop/Dance orientated sound in comparison to what we’re used to hearing from her. Granted it’s hardly a masterpiece, I’m liking this. After the mediocrisy that was the ‘B’ Day’ album, I’ve been hoping to see Beyonce experiment with differing sounds – so I’m definitely welcoming this new direction. {Thanks Benson!}Hit or Miss?

I listened to this a couple of times and i love the girl, but i just dont like it.
B’Day was like crack. You may not like the singles but the album was good still not a masterpiece.

I really like it. I thought Bday was a great album and I loved the style, but I am really excited to see Beyonce go in new directions. I am loving the beat of this song and her voice is good too. The song is very different and new. I hope the new style goes good for her. Great song. 🙂

Hopefully this was a starter track or she was just playing around in the studio. I love me some B, but not this song. Her voice is too powerful for it. If she can’t do what Janet, Madonna or Rihanna do, then back to the drawing board.

This song “shoudn’t” be no where. It is fine where its at-with Bee. The song was given to her for a reason. She is changing up her style and we will recieve great new things from her. Give the song a chance. The song is good and her vocals are usually higher than this, but maybe for this song it was supposed to be this way. I like the song but it reminds me of “Gimmie More”

Uuum, I am not convinced this sound will grow on me. The title and lyrics don’t seem like they were really thought through. This song definitely should NOT make the album. How can you say this is a new sound???? oh please!!! It’s the shame Britney and Rihanna do!! We can call it watever but new. I expected Beyonce to have a pop sound on her new album but more on her style. And when I heard this I got really decieved. I think (and pray) this won’t be a single and not even a song on the album. I expect so much more from her, she can do much better than this.
