Jazmine Sullivan – ‘Lions, Tigers & Bears’ Video

Published: Thursday 29th Jan 2009 by Sam

The Syndome directed video for Jazmine Sullivan’s new single ‘Lions, Tigers & Bears’ premiered today. I’ve been feeling the song for a while now and am glad it’s received the single treatment. The accompanying clip is pretty decent too. Good stuff.
What do you think of the video?

Nice song, very original and theatrical. I wish she would dress her age though, these fits make her look much older.

UMMMM I love the song, I love the album and I love Jazmine but this is not what I pictured at all for this song. this is my favorite next to Hurricane and I agree about the outfits. I did like the first one though.

LOVE LOVE LOVE the song, hate the video. I would have preferred a straight up narrative video

unlike keyshia cole and others, Jazmine has made a very QUICK transformation, she looks soooooooooo much better in this video then she did in her first and even her second. i love the song, and i feel the video compliments it…cant picture any other video for this song. amazing.

i think she looked pretty in her first video, and her shoe game was on point…it was the second vid that made he look older….i actually really like this vid,its simple and it makes you pay attention to the lyrics, and she looked nice too….im glad she listened to the fans and released this as a single…i’m also glad that she made it to the third single mark…some new artist dont get that far…which means she is on her way to being one of the greats

hmmm… for some reason the video didn’t quite hold my interest.

ok, it started out cute, I LIKED HER IN IT ALONE, the actors were corny &very amateur (made it look fake & kinda cheesy), sooooo if it were jst her, the video would hav been better & she needs a new stylist, i like the concept wth her ALONE (not the actors-YUK!)

I love Jazmine and have been a fan for nearly 4 yrs but what was up with that ponytail? It looked like they just plucked it off a horse with alopecia!!!

For starters the song is one of my favorites, I’m glad to see it release as a single. As for the video itself, the cheapest thing in the video is Jazmine Sullivan. The graphics and special effects overshadow her tremendously. It would have been nice to see her come together with the effects instead of “I wish she’ll get out the way for I can see that tiger”

    Why just a Tiger

Love this song though but No to the vid

She looks good but the vid don't match fully
    Some good ideas in there.
    But to much mish/mash

Love the song and like the video. It’s beautiful with its vivid colors. I saw a short clip of it prior to seeing the whole thing so I was expecting more from it but it works for the song.
