The song, which served as a bonus track on the superstar’s ‘I Am Sasha Fierce’ LP, isn’t believed to be getting the single treatment, which leaves many scratching their heads as to why a video is being released. I guess time will tell.

Everytime she’s out the lime light, people always make it out to be that someone’s dethroning her (Rihanna, Keri, Gaga) . I’m glad that Bey does her own thing! For the record Kelly (or any artist for that matter) should always release material that gets people’s attention no matter whose out. If it’s a hot single, it’s a hot single. There is nothing wrong with Beyonce doing what she loves most, which is music. She is talented and committed to her craft, although sometimes a few songs are just plain silly. I’m a Beyonce and Kelly fan. I must say this is petty and ugly of Beyonce. It’s no surprise Beyonce would release a song right after Kelly received somewhat positive to rave reviews for Commander. Beyonce has done this before to both Kelly and Michelle. Honestly, I’m not shock by this. It’s the music business. An old video from over a year ago ISN’T GOING TO AFFECT KELLY IN ANY WAY, SO STOP PANICKING K STANS!! I love Kelly and I’m saying this – this looks more like an outtake, like when you get a movie DVD and it comes with ‘extra scenes’ that weren’t included in the theatrical release. No one gives a s*** about those, cause they don’t really matter. And neither does this, it’s not a single, it’s just a video. And, as we mentioned previously, most likely from an upcoming anthology.
If anything, I think B took this break to give K her time to slay – which she will. You can’t even pretend that we’ve seen B working cause we haven’t. Sure she’s helped out AK and her hubby a couple of times, but that’s nothing big. All we’ve seen is shots of her going to parties, clubs, concerts and festivals – you can hardly say that’s work.
Again, this is just a video – something that many seem to be taking far too seriously. And, that leads me to ask why? If your fave is talented enough they can survive B being on the scene – see Rihanna. She still does big things while B is around, so don’t make excuses. I just don’t understand why she would release this song as a single. It was a “throwaway” track from the get go, just scraps left over from album completion. And though the old 1950 Susie Homemaker look is nice, it doesn’t quite match the song, because it has a 70s vibe to it. Beyonce…………when you have taken your usual trips to the south of France, spent “quality” time with your family, slept a little, and have come up with some fresh (not overgimmicked) material, them put something out. Until then, just chill till the Fall, it is not that hard.

The thing that makes me realize Kelly’s potential is the fact that people don’t talk about the group itself much when they talk about Kelly. They quickly refernce Beyonce. In the beginnig they sounded damn near so much alike that people didnt even kno who was who. There have even been some occasions where Kelly stood in for Beyonce (like emotions for instance with the high note) and there have been times where they mirrored each others voices ( like in Say My Name) as well as Kelly’s lead being mistaken for Bey’s (like in Emotions and Second Nature). Kelly is a vocal beast and no one wants to give her credit. But now she’s about to show people better than she can tell em. Bey is no competition bcuz they arent even competing. This isnt sabotage. Its just a video. It would be funny if it was Sasha asking Bey why she doesnt love her. After all she did say she killed Sasha so hey. And as for flopping just bcuz Kelly didnt sell like 8 mill doesnt mean she flopped. Both albums still went over platinum status. Both these women are beasts in the insductry who came from one of the biggest groups in the industry especially wen it came to vocals so lets not down one over the other. Bey slays and so does Kelly.
