BET and the cast of ‘The Game’ will no doubt be celebrating today. For the show’s much anticipated 4th season premiere (and BET debut) last night has made ratings history.

According to official statistics, a whopping 7.7 million tuned in to see the return of Melanie, Derwin, Tasha, Malik, Jason, and Kelly to the small screen.
As such, the show – which follows the lives and relationships of players on a fictional pro-football team – becomes BET’s biggest ever debut for a scripted series. What’s more, the latest figures more than double the show’s weekly ratings average of 2 million during its peak over at former network The CW where it aired for three seasons. {Source}
Kudos to BET for their all-out promotional campaign to support the show. More importantly, the stellar cast and writers deserves the utmost of props for delivering, with ‘The Game’, one of the best sitcoms to hit television in years. Welcome back!

The show was AWESOME! I will be watching every week as well… BTW, since the show has premiered in the middle of the season, how many shows will there be?
THE SHOW WAS GREAT. THE ONLY PROBLEM WAS THAT HORRIBLE LAUGH TRACK….. WHO EVER WAS IN CHARGE OF THAT NEEDS TO BE FIRED…. !!! IT WOULD HAVE BEEN SO MUCH BETTER IF THE LAUGHTER WAS ON POINT WITH THE JOKES… THERE WERE TIMES I DIDNT KNOW IF THE CHARACTERS WERE BEING SERIOUS OR IF THEY WERE JOKING….& WHEN THEY DID USE THE LAUGH TRACK, IT WAS SO LOW THAT I THOUGHT MAYBE I WAS HEARING THINGS….. ONCE THEY FIX THAT PROBLEM, THE SHOW WILL BE 100% ON POINT…
PS . IN MY OPINION THE ONLY SHOW THAT WORKED WITH OUT A LAUGH TRACK WAS THE BERNIE MACK SHOW…. CLASSIC!

Yaaassss! That’s so great! I am so happy cause I loved that t show and I was so nervous that BET was gonna f^*ck it up! Luckily they didn’t! It didn’t look all cheap and low budget like I was expecting and although a lot has changed, but it wasn’t too hard to follow either.
Plus I gotta give it to BET, the promotion for the premiere was stellar! Everyone knew when it was coming on and they obviously all tuned in!Twitter was going HAM too! All the trending topics were about the show!
It was a lot going on in that first episode, but they kept me entertained! I will definitely be tuning in next week! Can’t wait!

Great News. I am pleased that the show’s doing so well because it’s something fans fought to bring back and I’m especially happy that it’s pulled in those ratings for the BET network. I think everyone’s opinions of last night episode is fair, there’s nothing wrong with a little constructive criticism. I know that it’s just that everyone wants to see improvement and have the show be up to par. I will support The Game, it’s still one of the best shows I’ve ever seen on television!

Can’t watch it over here where I am but I’m happy that it did so well! Not a huge fan of the show but its great to see EBT pick up a show that another channel dropped. Congrats to them.

The show was very impressive last night. The only bad thing was the awful laugh track. Someone needs to fix that pronto. Other than that, I am pleased with the show and will continue watching. It hasn’t lost its touch.
The show was really good and its great that BET pulled in those ratings. The only thing I didn’t care too much for was the direction of Kelly’s character. I thought that I was the only one who noticed that about the laughing track. Lol

O where do i start first to the writers i just love the way you have us as veiwers wishing we could see the next episode tomorrow. YASSSSSSSSSSS! Hopefully it stays this successful the entire season, which would guarantee more seasons to come! It may have been more because there were SOOOO many people that threw a party for the premiere which means more people were watching on one television. I, myself, went to a party, so if people watch it from their own homes the following weeks it may be even more.
