Prior to Beyonce‘s rousing showing on the ‘Late Show With Jimmy Fallon’ last night, the 29 year old sat down with the host to talk a number of topics, including (of course) her ‘4’ LP, her year away from music, and bandmate Kelly Rowland‘s latest album ‘Here I Am’.

Did anybody notice Jimmy Fallon’s dumbfound expression when Beyonce mentioned Kelly’s new album? He didn’t even know Kelly had a new album out. WHAT is her TEAM doing?
As for Beyonce’s nod to Kelly, shoot, I’ll take it. After all the years Kelly spent being Beyonce’s walking, talking ad it’s only right Bey return the favor. Kelly needs ALL the promo she can get at this point.
I’m happy that Beyonce gave her honorable mention, letting so many people (including Jimmy Fallon) who are probably unaware that Kelly has an album in stores, know that she does and that it is “amazing”.
I can’t wait to see what Kelly will be performing (and wearing) on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno at 11:30pm tonight on channel 4 (yes, I’m plugging). I don’t think she should perform Motivation for that crowd. At this point, she needs to give people another reason to love and buy the album. I hope she performs a song no one would expect, like “Keep It Between Us” or, if she wants to keep things on and poppin, “Turn it Up”. Both those songs would be a great way to motivate (no pun intended) people to buy Here I Am.

I am so surprised that Beyonce did that for Kelly. After all of these years of her hogging the spotlight and accepting the role of being the leader and most demanded in DC, she finally took a step back and promoted Kelly! This was actually a good interview. Beyonce sounded so horse, but she actually showed personality. And for you Beyonce a–lickers… stop saying Kelly aint promoting her album! She did BIllboard Q&A, is about to do Leno, Is on the cover of Vibe, did an interview with CeeLo, Had a CD signing in New York, is featured in Rolling Stone, did radio interviews….. I loved the interview. Beyonce is FAR nicer than her stans that post nasty messages on every board they go to if you do not like something about Beyonce. Heck, I did not care for this song, but I enjoyed the interview.
