An album that centres around s** is an album that has no substance whatsoever. I mean can she not sing about mature stuff and more interesting things. This is so Rihanna 2010. You are not evolving as an artist if you constantly sing about s**. She sure is no artist but a singer. An artist is serious about their craft and don’t go with fast food music. Now even though rihanna isn’t the best singer live, in the studio I duno what she does (or the engineers *coughs*) but her studio voice can carry a tune and when she gets it right its an A+ .. Only problem is when she gets it wrong its jus as xtremely bad .. Now ill reserve complete judgements till its released but from what I heard it looks like were gna get both sides from rihanna (as usual)
When you can’t sell talent (because you lack it), sell s** instead. The dirty and tacky innuendos don’t distract me from seeing that Rihanna is completely talentless. Try something else.

I dont want to judge the album based on those 30 sec preveiws but seriously that was awful. I was listening to those songs for the first time and it felt like i had have them 1000 times before. This is such a huge disappointment.Half of the snippets are HORRIBLE, AWFUL!!Where did it go wrong??’Loud’ was a step down from the absolutely brilliant ‘Rated R’ and now this could have been recorded by ANY female artist in the wolrd!!No originallity, no experimentation, no effort to be different, NOTHING!!Even freaking Keri Hilson could have released this album and when you’re a high profile act and your album sounds like a Keri Hilson demo, then you know you need to go back to the drawing board.Maybe the tracks are growers (I can’t get over how horrible ‘Birthday Cake’ is, I just CAN’T!!), but still, after 5 albums, isn’t it time to step away from radio hits and cheap tracks and move on to a lane of your own???

I knew what to expect and that was maybe one or two good songs and the rest would be fillers. Nothing special, nothing to make me go buy her album.
I was wondering why she named the Album “Talk that Talk” and I now know the reason: Its the only song with Jay Z on it. She is sooooo thirsty to be Beyonce that its becoming quite pathetic. No one else is featured on the album except him. Hmm. I know that I am not the only one to notice how smug and sneaky this b**** is. She knew exactly what she was doing and somehow people still can’t make the connections.
I will NEVER hate on someone just because, so my opinion is just that; an opinion.
The snippets weren’t all that and I think she needs to spend a little more time in the studio perfecting her craft, and practicing instead of trying to make it a race of who can spit out the most amount of albums 🙂

B**** Please. You insist on churning out albums every consecutive year without fail, and now, after the slight disapointment of ‘LOUD’, we have a depressingly dire attempt to recapture the ‘Dance Euphoria’ and add a ‘Rihanna twist’ to it.
Why is she so afraid to take longer to work on an album? Rihanna isn’t going to fade into obscurity, I mean, look at ‘Rated R’. There was a two year break in between her previous album, and that time off, including the Chris Brown incident, gave her immense inspiration to make an album that actually meant something, and I believe it’s her best to date.
So wait and learn Rih, and you’ll actually create something credible and worth listening to.

To be honest, I give this album a 1 out of 5 stars! I hate Rihanna, but I seriously would give her a good rating if I actually liked the album and I don’t. Yes, it is only 30 seconds, but you gotta remember that if it’s really a good song, it should grab you from the start or at least have you interested. LET’S BE REAL YOU RIHANNA ASS LICKERS…. This album is filled with ghetto, trashy, nasty, immature, generic, poppish/R&B crap. It’s on the level of CERROR’s Fantasy Ride, just has a little more pop. Or actually, it kinda reminds me of Keri Hilson’s/Skeri Flopson’s No Boys Allowed album! It’s problem are the horrible knock off of other singer’s beats and the bland and uninspiring melodies.
Wow… this is what happens when you rush out an album. It so obvious that it was rushed! I actually don’t like “We Found Love” but that is the best song on the album and the only song that will go #1 off of this album. I am so excited that she recorded this album. It’s going to flop! It’s too watered down and recycled! I can’t wait for her career to be over. I’ve had it with these nasty, dirty, hos who sell their c****** and ass. If she was a real artist she would create something unique and original. She’s just a manufactured puppet that does whatever the record label and music creators want her to do.

funny all the haters and even some of the fans failed to notice the change in rihanna’s music, you will see when the album releases fullly. rihanna’s music on this album is mostly influenced by island music. you da one, cockiness, birthday cake. just some of the songs. sounds like rihanna took her music of the sun album and mixed it together with loud. sounds so different than what rihanna has previously done.
i will definetly get this album.

wow someone who actually listened to the songs. no one wanted to point out how rihanna is returning to her original island sounds, this album is mostly dancehall. a big step from loud.

Ehh idk I’m not sure if I’m feeling this one. All the songs sound the same to me. And the lyrics are very immature im to me. She is really riding thee F*** outta this west indian sound. Which is good & bad. It’s good, cause no other female out rn can imitate it like her seeing as she is West Indian. But mainstream America isn’t gonna support 11 tracks of Na Na’s & Eh Eh’s. So, I kinda think it will work against her in the long run. If there is 1 thing I’ve learned, it’s that you can never judge an album even by it’s snippets so I won’t cast my vote just yet, but there is VERY limited variety on this album. And variety is what Rihanna is. Pop, R&B, Emo & Rock blended w/powerful lyrics and unearthly beats is usually her recipe. UNFORTUNATELY, I don’t get that from these snippets sooooo…….

Why are some of you riding mary j blige all of a sudden? It’s not so much that you are fans and supporters of mary you just want mary to out-sell rihanna so that you can have something to throw back in rihanna’s fans face.
