The X-Factor 2011 saw its 8th set of eliminations tonight. Find out who’s heading home this week…
{For those unfamiliar with The X Factor, the show is the UK’s version of American Idol – with a twist in that groups and over 25’s are eligible to enter. Now in it’s eighth season, the show is responsible for birthing the careers of Leona Lewis, Alexandra Burke, and JLS. Its US incarnation launched last month FOX}.
After registering the lowest public vote of the contestants, Misha B and Janet Devlin were the two acts put on the chopping block.
The weekly sing-off proceeded with Janet up first singing Snow Patrol‘s ‘Chasing Cars’, with Misha B following.
In the end, it was Misha B who was granted a pass onto next week’s show, after Tulisa, Louis, and Gary sent Janet packing.
The X Factor continues on ITV1 next Saturday.

it seems to me a Joke , Mischa B has had the best performances this week , in my opinion the show needed that one iof kelly’s girl went home , not because of the public vote it was show decision, MIscha B is the most talented this year and i find difficult that people doesn’t vote for her.

Noo Janet is gone:( First time in the bottom 2 and she’s gone. I liked how janet didnt cry. She can hold her head up high.
Also just cause misha B didnt land in the bottom 2 in the first few weeks before the bully thing come up, doesnt mean she was top of the votes before hand. yes she got through.. but cause there was so many average acts.. When the show ends.. they give the public votes week by week. We’ll see then.
