Produced by Jermaine Dupri and Bryan Michael Cox, the cut is believed to be the lead release from ‘My Life II: The Journey Continues (Act 2)’ – an LP Blige exclusively confirmed was in the pipeline during our chat with her last year.
Chilled, laid-back, and authentic Mary, we’re feeling this. The Sly & The Family Stone sample never gets boring.
That said, we can’t but wonder whether this is strong enough to re-rev the ‘My Life II’ project – which any such single would need to in light of the project’s so-so performance thus far.

I like My Life II Act 1 you know, and I am a huge Mary J fan… but… Mary needs to step back for a while I believe.
She needs to take a music break until Winter 2014.
She should not release this Act 2 thing, take a break, do another few movies, do something in the fashion industry and then do some TV work. By Spring 2014 she should be part of a massive TV show and then release the album when the average person is still checking for her.
IMO she has released TOO many albums TOO soon (regarding her last few albums).
Mary would never be able to not do music until 2014, this is her life, she loves it dearly and can’t stay too long without doing it. The longer she will take time off until the next project is 2013. I Do believe she should release the Act II though. Not putting it out it would make it all look like a failure.
