Blah! The song is generic as f***. I understand that she’s young and doesn’t want to be known as a “ballad singer,” but geeeeez she has vocals for days. She shouldn’t be singing this s*** that sounds like everything else on the radio.

comparing her to other singers who were on singing competition shows, she is 1 of the few who has a big voice and can sing a generic/dance song. saw some girl from Australia xfactor, sam, she sung the hell outta a ballad but couldnt pull of singing or performing rihanna’s where have u been… she looked awkward, jessica commanded that stage and did her thing
I don’t think the song is bad, not my favorite but not the worst I have ever heard. She definitely worked the stage – I really liked the song playing before she performed, the one that was playing while it showed behind the scenes at her video – that sounded urban, fresh and hot! Hope the rest of the album is more r&b/urban driven! She deserves success she is very talented.

Not what I was expecting, but a good way to reach her demographic and fan base. They wanna hear upbeat fun, light hearted music. I’m sure the mid-tempos and ballads will pack a punch. The performance was solid. I like that you fell her hunger. She is working on a presence. It’s good to see someone serious about being an ARTIST.
