For, the ‘Single Ladies’ siren is enjoying renewed success with ‘B’Day’ anthem – ‘Get Me Bodied’.
It’s been seven years since the Swizz Beatz cut had the clubs snapping for the kidz and Naomi Campbell Walking. However, the track has staged a remarkable rebound on this week’s Billboard Hot 100 – acheiving a new peak on the tally in the process.

Currently sitting at 7 million views in less than seven days, the clip clearly renewed interest in ”Bodied’ – as digital sales and streaming have seen the dance-floor jam jump to #46 on this week’s Hot 100. The placing represents a new peak for the track, which had previously climaxed at #68 in 2007. (Note: Much like ‘Upgrade U’, the track has never received a “formal” release and was instead an integral component of Beyonce’s ‘B’Day’ re-release – which included a video anthology)

Weird, but okay. GMB always sounded like a precursor to Single Ladies to me. They won’t, but Columbia should use this sudden jump to officially re-release the song.

It’s a good sign though, IMO. A wildly successful world tour, a renewed interest in her older music makes, all while everyone sits on the edge of their seats for new music, leads me to believe that Bey’s next era will be a successful one.

The viral video actually made ppl more interested about “Get me bodied” and they started to order it on demand and ask for it on the radio. That’s why it re entered the charts:).
