For, despite new album ‘ARTPOP’ rocketing to the top of numerous charts across the globe this week (including tallies in the US and UK), the 27-year-old appears none-too-impressed with the onslaught of “hate” levied her way.

Aspects of GaGa’s words do ring true. Indeed, there does exist (so it seems) an unfair air of “anti-GaGa” in the atmosphere. Almost a “build ’em up , only to knock them down” motive. Hitting out at Billboard, likely due to their highlighting of ‘Born This Way’s infamous $.99 cents deal as well ‘ARTPOP’s sales stacked up against recent albums by Katy Perry and Miley Cyrus, is silly. For, unless there’s more to story than we’re privy to, we can’t see what GaGa’s gripe is with the reporting of…facts.
Despite being a “superstar” for a relatively short period of time, it’s clear GaGa is well-versed in the pro’s and con’s of ‘Fame’ – a topic she’s ironically probed and poked fun at since the onset of her career. As such…why so serious?

Well, I don´t think those tweets were that bad. I mean, no one can deny she´s been getting hate for no reason since July (see the desperate silly trolls here in TGJ everyday). There´s only so much one can take. That said, I still don´t like when artists talk about these things on twitter. This generation is too focused on the superficial staff already. No need to add to the ignorance.
The important thing keeps being Artpop is a great album as Sam says. I´m getting my life from it. I easily give it a 8.5 out of 10, best pop album of the year. There are 2 or 3 songs that are even a 10/10.

This is very true and only the basic get a free ride these days! If Gaga has what it takes she’ll show us exactly what she’s made of during these times. I suggest she fight to earn people’s respect and not concern herself with commercial success. She’s already made a name for herself. Bionic is a good album, so good infact, I think its in the top 10 of the best albums on this decade. But it came out during a time when it was considered the “in” thing to hate on Christina, and that is why it didn’t sell why.
