No more than 24 hours after its digital release, Beyonce continues to strike fear in the hearts of many a Pop Princess today, now that her new self titled LP has rocketed to the top of iTunes USA!

Currently the highest selling LP in the country, ‘Beyonce’ nows sits atop iTunes USA and iTunes R&B’s album chart, snatching the top spot away from R.Kelly‘s ‘Black Panties’.
As if that wasn’t enough to give Columbia Records cause to rejoice, the project now owns the #1 spot in 25 different markets- three of these, being Australia, France and Brazil. This, days before the project’s lead singles are sent to radio in a bid to push digital and physical copies of the release and secure the performer her first #1 single since 2008’s ‘Single Ladies.’
In other chart news, Jason Derulo‘s ‘Trumpets’ blows its way to #4 on iTunes UK’s singles chart, while Aloe Blacc‘s ‘The Man‘ sits pretty atop iTunes R&B- two spots above Sevyn Streeter‘s ‘It Won’t Stop’ which is perched 17 places above Ciara’s Gold certified smash hit, ‘Body Party’.
