Katy Perry rocked Glasgow, Scotland with a ‘roaring’ set at ‘BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend’ yesterday evening, doing so as part of the push for her brand new album ‘Prism.’
Now, perhaps in response to scathing criticism launched at her singing voice in the past, this performance may or may not have seen Perry employ help of the “pre-recorded persuasion”, sounding miles better than she did when she stormed the ‘X Factor UK‘ with ‘Roar’ last year.

Though she isn’t the strongest vocalist, one has to commend Katy for finding a lane and fully committing to it.
After all, while Lady GaGa now pays the price for straying too far from the look and sound that made her Lady GaGa, Katy stays atop Pop’s food chain with hits and live performances that speak directly to her feel good Pop loving audience, while keeping things fresh with edgy yet inoffensive concepts and themes in her videos and on stage!
