Is Beyonce gearing up to premiere a new song from the upcoming re-release of her fifth studio album?
According to DJ Skee of Dash Radio, the answer is “yes”.
Full story below…
As widely reported, the re-issue of the 33-year-old’s mega-selling visual album will be hitting retail on November 24th and comes packaged with two new songs ‘7/11’ and ‘Ring Off’.
Naturally, in lieu of the singer’s ultra laxed approach to promo these days, the belief was that the masses would hear the new numbers when the Platinum Edition of ‘Beyonce’ touched down.
However, per Skee, one of the tracks may be coming sooner that assumed. He told listeners last night:
“Apparently, Beyonce is dropping her new record next week and it’s supposed to be an R&B-ratchet type record. Similar to ‘Partition’ in terms of the sound and style. So we’ll be blasting that off next week”
It’s imperative to note that it’s the same DJ that announced the Bey/Jay Z collaboration album – confirmation of which is still pending.
That said, there are murmurs suggesting that Detail (‘Drunk In Love’) and Hit Boy (‘Flawless’) have involvement with the two new tracks. A point which, when placed in the context of the material they produced for the original album, aligns well with Skee’s description of the song above.
Anyway, enough of us getting our Jessica Fletcher on. Time will tell.
In the meanwhile…
