In what can be only classified as “shocking,” Mariah Carey‘s estranged brother, Morgan, has come forward with a jaw-dropping tell all about his Grammy winning sister.
A reported former drug addict himself, Morgan – a la Latoya Jackson – is slamming the ‘Vision of Love’ singer for alleged alcoholism and drug abuse in a recent interview. The model-turned-fitness trainer even went as far as to compare the diva to her late pop icon friend Whitney Houston, saying she will die if her habits continue on their destructive path.

‘[She] is struggling on a number of levels. She does not have a support system and is not mentally capable. Mariah was drinking through her pregnancy – even while she was nursing. I can’t say that I have ever been around her when she was sober and that’s very scary.’

Her brother also alleges, in addition to alcoholism, the singer is struggling with an addiction to prescription pain killers, anti-depressants, and other medications like Zyprexa and Ativan. Addictions, he claims, stem from her 2001 breakdown.
He also weighed in on the singer’s marriage to Nick Cannon, claiming the funnyman was laughing all the way to the bank at Mariah’s expense.
“Nick was there for the cash from day one. He doesn’t give a damn about Mariah. [He] took tremendous advantage of her and continues to do so.”
Morgan did mention that he has not spoken to or seen his hitmaking sister in two years.

I don’t think the allegations are true but I do think her brother lied and said this (LordT knows if it was true, Nick woulda sold those stories to the press a year ago!). Her addict sister did the same thing when she needed Mariah to give her money to go to rehab and to get custody of her kids. I feel for Mariah not even being able to trust her own blood.

A woman with these type of problems in such a serious state wouldn´t be able to keep on working non stop. And look great, with a great face, skin and all at her age, and keep on songwriting and recording at this pace, and do all the constant interviews she does.
She likes to have a few drinks like 70% of people in the world and I´m sure she has some medication, like 80% of people in the world who are over 40. But that´s it.
